I have a confession. I am not a calm person. My idea of "relaxing" is aggressively organizing my spice rack while muttering about the state of the world. So, when this rather large bottle of SVA Rosemary Essential Oil showed up, I had two thoughts. First, "Wow, that's a generous size for an essential oil," and second, "If this doesn't work, I'm going to have to resort to actual meditation, and nobody wants that." My initial skepticism was based on the fact that I've been burned by tiny, overpriced vials of "essence" that smell more like a cleaning product than a plant. This, however, was different. The moment I pulled the dropper out and took a whiff, I was hit with a wonderfully sharp, clean, and distinctly herbaceous aroma. It’s like sticking your nose into a fresh rosemary bush on a warm day, without the dirt and the possibility of a spider crawling up your arm. It's invigorating, not perfumey, which I genuinely appreciate. I've been using it in my diffuser to try and trick my brain into thinking my home office is a peaceful spa, rather than a box where I stare at spreadsheets. A few drops in the morning, and the house smells like I've been making a sophisticated roast dinner, which is a fantastic illusion because we all know I'm just reheating pizza. The scent is strong and lingers pleasantly, which is a huge plus. The included dropper is a lifesaver, too, as my pouring abilities are notoriously tragic. On the beauty front, I mixed a couple of drops with my regular carrier oil and gave myself a little scalp massage. My hair felt clean and my head felt tingly and awake. It’s a lovely little pick-me-up. I haven't used it for cooking, though I’m tempted just to see what happens, but for now, I’m sticking to aromatherapy and DIY blends. Now, the important part: will it stand up to my chaotic daily life? I really hope this product is durable and holds its own because I'm already planning on using it for everything. I’m going to need a bigger bottle of carrier oil at this rate. What tickles my fancy: The size is incredible. For 4 Fl Oz, you get a hefty amount, so I don't feel guilty about using more than a miserly drop. The scent is authentic and powerful. It smells like the actual herb, not a chemical interpretation of it. The dropper is a thoughtful addition. It makes measuring easy and prevents me from accidentally anointing my whole kitchen counter. It's versatile. Diffuser, hair, skin, massage – this bottle is basically the Swiss Army Knife of my self-care routine. What makes me raise an eyebrow: The glass bottle is great, but I do worry about my clumsy hands. It’s a recipe for a tragic, smelly accident if I'm not paying attention. It's a bit potent. If you’re sensitive to strong scents, you’ll want to start with just one drop. I learned this the hard way when I tried to "really get the party started" and ended up sneezing for ten minutes straight. The dropper, while useful, is separate from the cap, so you have to remember to switch them out. It’s not a dealbreaker, just a tiny extra step for those of us who are perpetually distracted.

This is my favorite rosemary oil. It has a nice potent scent and it’s not super oily. Adorn myself with it daily. I also put it in my locs and I mix it into my body lotion. The texture is nice and light.

Seems fine, I haven't had dramatic results one way or another. Not smelly, not too heavy. But had to take off one star because I have rarely received a product with such a terrible applicator. It's a dropper, but ineffective, so the oil is just dripping all over the place when you try to get some out.

Hard to tell the difference between pine, tea tree oil, and this rosemary. But this product is potent and has a strong smell. If that is an indication of the quality and potency it is great. Just hoping it is the authentic product. The clear color threw me off. Thought rosemary concentrate may have a tint of green, however this was as clear as water. Again hoping it is authentic and the clear color is result of filtration.

Scent is strong when you open. Seems to be holding its own. I am making air fresheners for closets. I was happy with price/size. Will order from this company again.

Can't tell you how grateful our family has been for this wonderful product! We had been using this for relief of digestive discomfort which it does very well, and to help break up occasional congestion from colds and coughs, which is also very helpful. A drop on the tongue (as needed) is all we usually need. Last week, we got to really experience how great this fennel oil can be. We were clearing some things out of an old storage area that was quite dusty and even moldy in a few places. The last time I had done anything like that I had gotten sick from it, in spite of wearing gloves and a mask, so I was dismayed to see what we had gotten ourselves into! Well.....I remembered how helpful this oil was for colds and respiratory issues, so I grabbed the bottle on my way out the door. We masked up like before, but I dropped some on my tongue and soon I was the only one not sneezing and sniveling from the dust and must. I offered to share, and soon everyone was regularly taking a drop or two on their tongue. We were all amazed. After four days of clean up in very undesirable conditions, not one of us got sick, other than an occasional sniffle. Nothing at all to worry about, no problems breathing during or afterwards. We provided as much ventilation as we were able, and took precautions, but usually a job like that would bother me waaay more! I am so grateful for this oil, and never want to be without it! Bottle fell right out of package. It didn't even let me unwrap the bubble paper. Fell on the floor and broke. It wasn't a grip issue on my part. I've purchased before and now it's all over my floor. I hate the smell and now my whole house smells. I usually make homemade bug spray with it, which everyone loves & now I can't make any. I guess I'll buy another one and open it on the couch so it doesn't break.

Too early to tell if it helps hair growth, but it's easy enough to leave on hair without a sticky mess. Fragrance seems consistent of fresh amla

The rancid smell of this oil, makes it unusable - think musty gorillas armpits. It's absolutely rank, there's no other word for it. Unfit for purpose and returned promptly.

Huge bottle of really good quality oil. Use this in my electric room diffuser in the hallway and gives a lovely lingering fragrance.
