An Angel gets its wings back.
The Permatex liquid filler work great for returning wings and arm to our Garden Angel. Following the instructions, sanding the damaged areas, removing access paint and doing the repair was quick and easy. The gray coloring made it easy to paint; it not only filled areas put created an adhesive to hold wings and arm in place. The small tube will last, having multiple adhesive and fill versatility it great. A great value for a small price.

worked as advertised, saved me time and money....
Worked as hoped. Long story short somebody zip-tied a bracket against my old 6x4 gator engine and after several years of operation and vibration it chewed through the lower aluminum housing of the engine block and started leaking (weeping) oil. I put the Gator up on jack stands, pitched forward, drained the oil, cleaned the affected area with degreaser and applied this product with success. Keep in mind it was a tiny pin-hole repair and I was able to prep and clean the affected housing before applying this product but it is performing as hoped/expected.

Works well. Be careful with cleanup.
I am 1) impressed with one aspect of this product and 2) annoyed by another. I am a homeowner fixing up my house through painstaking research, trial and error, and more than expected trips to the hardware store. I am impressed that this product, UNLIKE competing ones, provided instructions on how to clean up excess material and get it off your tools. This is crucial information which other products exclude. The answer, printed clearly on this product is: use acetate. So far so good. 2) but here is the annoying part. I had never used acetate before. I didnโt know that it would remove paint nearly instantly from everything it touched. Including the aluminum siding I was trying to patch and a metal table where I set the dripping can. Now, this is not this productโs fault. Iโm sure an expert would know what surfaces acetate can touch without damaging. But it would have been extremely nice, however, if the instructions for this product could have mentioned just a sentence more about the solvent used to clean up after it. Something like โbe careful and read label, will damage painted surfacesโ would have gotten my attention enough to prevent these minor disasters. Taking both 1) and 2) together, I would say to the makers of this: good start on documentation, but please consider holding the userโs hand a tiny bit more.

Great Product
Great stuff. Hardens pretty quick but allows enough time to apply.

It works, but surface-dries far too quickly
This is an okay product. It does adhere and once it dries it forms a strong bond. The problem is that the surface starts drying almost straight out of the tube. We're talking 15 to 30 seconds it starts skinning over. That makes it a bit difficult to work and make a smooth surface... which is what I was going for. Fail on that point. If you're wanting a filler for small holes, this should work pretty well. It is sandable once it fully cures, so it has its uses. But personally I'd prefer a bit longer initial working time before the surface turns matte and becomes difficult to work. This is for "quick and dirty" fill jobs that you either don't care how the surface looks... or plan to sand it later.

Exactly what I needed for a project
This was used on a custom made mailbox sign. It would have cost $140 to make a new one with my name on it. I filled over the current name with this and placed the lettering for my name over top. It dries rock hard and is bonded to the aluminum surface. I expect this will weather extremely well. I would recommend having acetone on hand to thin it out for a project like I did. I mixed the filler with acetone to get a thinner consistency that would dry smooth. Since I used acetone I am not sure if the product itself needed a well ventilated area or not. Great purchase that will last a long time.

Worked great!
I got tired of waiting on my husband to fix my front storm glass door, so I did it. Actually he had but it broke again. The arm at the top of the door that automatically shuts it, had literally pulled all the screws out of the door. So when you invited guests in, the door flew open and you had to grab it quickly before it slammed the glass against the brick on the side of the house. I read all the reviews and followed the instructions. Very easy. I did this by myself and it was before Christmas and New Year's. Guess what...it survived all the traffic!!! YAY!!! My husband was so impressed! Thank you!! Highly recommend! Remember, use gloves if you don't want your hands messy and paper towel or two in case it drips when you first apply. B/c it caught me off guard when I started applying and it started dripping down door. Just FYI.

Good for the money.
First time I used it it was a little runny which was disappointing but after one use it is now more of a pliable solid substance. It dries nice and hard and is sandable. The ones you have to mix are stronger when dry but this is just a bit easier to use.
