Reliable Heavy-Duty Pliers Wrench
These Knipex 10-inch pliers wrenches feel seriously substantial in hand that’s built to handle real abuse without complaint. The comfort grips are tough, stay secure even when things get greasy, and the jaws never slip on fasteners. Adjustment is quick, smooth, and precise every time. They’ve become my go-to for stubborn bolts and delicate fittings alike because they grip flat surfaces without rounding anything off. I liked the first pair so much I bought a second to for whenever the job calls for two pairs of fliers. Straightforward, no-nonsense tool that just works.

Good self adjusting pliers, good function and quality!
The best pliers that leave no marks on bolts. Just finished a bathroom and kitchen sink job at my home. Replace an entire toilet to one of those self “rear end” washing toilets for my wife. Adjustments was easy to use and the functionality of not taking off to adjust saves so much time. The length is a good size as I can use it on most household and car projects, it’s also light weight too. I’m glad I got the comfort grip as I can really squeeze the bolts off off. I like the functionally because I don’t have to keep adjusting and it auto adjust for me. Great purchase, very high quality tool. Cost a lot, but it saves me so much time and the quality is very high.

Knipex pliers wrench lives up to the hype
German tools can be a distinct pleasure to own and use, and I what few non-American tools I have are either German (NWS, Wera) or Spanish (Irega, Grip-On). But this was my first Knipex product, and it has not disappointed. I'd always heard good things about Knipex's pliers wrench, and it has certainly lived up to the hype. It took me a little time to get used to the button adjustment method, but once I did, it were a breeze to use. If you're not sure how you would use the pliers wrench, maybe you don't need it, but it can serve as both adjustable wrench and locking pliers. Cons? I would say it was expensive, but the machining, fit, and finish are fantastic, the overall build quality is *chef's kiss*, and I expect it'll far outlive me. Slop and play are non-existent. The handle is extremely comfortable, although someone who doesn't use them all day and wants the most precise "feel" for the task might like the regular grip instead of the comfort one. Anyway, this has been so good that I'm basically just looking for an excuse to buy the Knipex Cobras, which have a similar reputation. Note that this is not a paid review, free product trial, or otherwise compensated review.

Unique tool. Great brand. Better than a channellock or a cresent wrench. Won't hurt fasteners and no squeezing of handles.
I really like Knipex. I don't think anyone else makes a product just like this...these are unique. So what is it? This is not some channellock type tool. Channellock pliers change the angle of the pliers as you adjust them. Channellocks have aggressive teeth that dig into a fastener and damage them. These pliers keep the gripping surface parallel to each other at all times. You press the little button to slide the adjuster open or closed. Another things is that when using channellock type pliers, you have to squeeze the handles together. You only need to put pressure on the top handle. There is no squeezing involved. I used this to remove an O2 sensor when the actual O2 sensor socket wasn't able to get it to budge. Don't tell Knipex but you can put a pipe on the top handle to get more leverage. (do this at your own risk I guess) These are not a cresent type wrench either but it is a great replacement for a cresent wrench. (it is much closer to being a better version of a cresent wrench that it is to being a channel lock type plier) I don't think I will be using a cresent wrench ever again. Both cresent wrenches and channellocks type pliers tend to round off bolts and nuts. Cresent wrenches don't stay tight. These tend to work much much better than either one of those. The design is really cool too. I'm not sure about the comfort grip to be honest. It is nice but now this doesn't match my other Knipex tools. They sell one with the normal Knipex red handles. If I were doing it again, I probably would get that one. It is still a 5 star product in my mind though.

Great tool
My husband has so many Knipex tools and absolutely loves them! Super high quality and easy to use. Always a good and easy gift for him.

Great for a wrench, mediocre for pliers
Nice quality, with an ingenious action that provides phenomenal mechanical advantage and gripping force. As a wrench, they work better than any adjustable crescent-style wrench. Unfortunately, as pliers, they are not as versatile as a generic set of channel lock pliers. The problem is that the jaws don't have any teeth in them. The smooth jaws are great for turning a bolt without marking the head. But it would really help to have some teeth at the end of the jaws, in case you want to pull the head of a nail or grip anything else that you don't want to crush.

Life changing!!!
These pliers are life changing. I have used Channellock pliers since a kid and at age 36 I finally bought some Knipex and I wished I had found out about them to start. They are awesome. Takes a little while to get good at adjusting them but once you master that say good bye to the channellocks that slip out from adjusted size and having to have 2 hands to adjust them. I am slowly buying the complete set. While they aren’t cheap they are worth the money. The quality is outstanding they don’t rust or tarnish over time. The smooth jaw won’t scar and their design allows them to grip extremely hard while I’m my opinion reducing the amount of pressure one must apply using their hand strength. Spend the money and get the set the time you save will pay off in the long run.

Use these pliers all the time. Sometimes wish they had teeth, but that's not the intended design anyway.
