Greenies Pill Pockets Small Size Dog Treats, Hickory Smoke Flavor, 3.2 oz

I honestly love this pill pockets for dogs. It makes it easier for 2 out of my 3 dogs to take their medicine without so much fuss. To them it feels like snack time 🤣 but 1 of my dogs can’t be fool he would not eat it even if it’s empty lol so I have to do it the old fashioned way because I have tried everything even at Vet’s office he puts up a fight if they have to give him any oral medication. I’m attaching a video so you guys can see my fur babies in action 😁

Really works. Dogs find this delicious. Swallow pills in a flash. So tasty, they can be used as treats or even torn into tine bits to be used for training

My dog has been on pill medication for over a month and I had a very hard time giving him his pills daily. I tried peanut butter (very messy) , putting it in his food (he finds the pill and spits it out), trying to hide it in hot dogs (not healthy and he spit out the pill). After much struggling with giving him his meds, and I did not want to keep struggling for another three months I had to find a better way. I came across these and I am happy I gave them a try and got three different flavors. He is now taking his pill without struggle or spitting it out. He takes his treats even with the pill in it. So easy now , wish I had known about these a lot sooner.

I bought the smallest tablet sized Hickory Flavored Pill Pocket for my 13lb Yorkie. She hates meds and can smell them no matter what I wrapped them in previously. We always had to resort to crushing the pills and using a plastic medicine syringe to squirt them in her mouth because she is small and hates medicine no matter what we tried to hide them in out of the refrigerator or pantry. (One of us to hold her and the other one to deliver the squirted meds) I purchased this product directly from Amazon warehouse and rec'd in less than 24 hours because they are ~five miles from my door. I was afraid the ball I rolled this (super fresh, moist, pliable fragrant smelling) treat would be too big for her to inhale without chewing and she'd spit it out, but she chomped once or twice if at all and it was gone. We tried to stick 1 and 1/2 pills in the first time and it didn't work, the next day we used two separate pill pockets and it worked like a CHARM the next five days until she was out of her two meds. So don't overstuff a pill pocket one pill per pocket and get the RIGHT SIZE for your dog, and pill. They make a different one for capsules which I thought about buying knowing I needed to dose one whole tiny pill and one half of a larger pill each delivery. I didn't get the bigger capsule pocket because my dog is only 13 lbs and I was afraid it would be bigger and she'd have to chew it to swallow it and discover the med and spit it out so I bought what I expected was the smaller pill sized option. Also be sure to follow the instructions on the package and do not use the hand/surface you used to cut a tablet in half or handle the pill to also then handle the treat. My husband and I each took a part of the task so as not to contaminate the treat exterior with medicine smell. If you are working solo, wash your hands really good in between, I tried it with one hand to handle treat and one hand to handle and insert pill and it wasn't easy because when you go to close the treat you kind of have to pinch it closed and then roll it into a ball and that takes two clean hands. If your dog is a toy size breed under 10 lbs I don't know that these would work for you unless you cut them in half and are trying to hide a really small pill or cut them in half. I am attaching pictures here for you with a standard size aspirin, a baby aspirin top and side view next to the product. I purchased the smallest size offered. Our dog has never had actual bacon, loves real peanut butter but is fascinated by the smell of bacon when we cook it so we went with the hickory bacon flavor

My dog will not eat these on her own. We do however, put her pills in, roll it up in a ball and force them down her throat

My pups love and has made giving them their medicine more easy. They think it’s a treat.

These hickory smoke pill pockets work freat for my picky old girl Lollipop who is 15 years 7 months & is on 3 medications. Every morning I put her pills inside and she eats it right up!

These are great for getting my dogs to take pills. They are soft, so you can coat the pill nicely and even add a couple of layers without using a whole pill pocket. I am not sure what it is about Greenies treats, but my dogs absolutely love the flavor of all their treats.

Unser Hund muss täglich eine recht große Tablette nehmen. Anscheinend schmeckt diese nicht gut und er verweigert sie total. Das Verstecken in anderen Leckerchen (Wurst, Käse) hat nichts gebracht. In den Greenies Pillentaschen merkt er aber überhaupt nichts. Er ist ganz scharf drauf. Die scheinen unglaublich gut zu schmecken.

These are amazing!! I wish I had found these years ago - So fabulous!!! Cannot rate highly enough!! My dogs would find worming tablets hidden in cheese, meat in every other thing I tried hiding them in and spit the tablet back out. But these - no issue at all. Absolute game changer!!!
