I use this body wash in the mornings before I go to work. The scent of mint and rosemary helps wake me up. Its a nice moisturizing gel like body wash. My skin can get irritated and dry with some body washes, but using this daily has never bothered me and leaves me feeling clean and ready for my day. Will be repurchasing when I am out

I love this detox body wash. It is amazing. Lathers well, smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. Will definitely purchase again and again.

After using this for a couple months, I have a few specific comments but I haven’t noticed anything particularly groundbreaking or noteworthy about the product itself. I do however like the ethics of the brand as a whole (vegan, cruelty free, sustainability, transparency) as far as what I can tell from their marketing and a brief google search. I did do a lot of research into the ingredients and I found that they are a lot better than most other body soaps. A lot of other skincare products claim to be “un scented” or “fragrance free” while still having a bunch of other irritating perfuming ingredients like high concentrations of essential oils etc. Since this product is unscented, the smell is kind of a weird earthy/oceany smell that I’m assuming is because of the seaweed. I didn’t like the smell at first, but it’s not very strong and as far as I can tell it doesn’t linger on the skin. My family didn’t notice any weird smell after I started using it at least. It’s possible that this also means it’s not as deeply cleansing as I feel like recently I’ve started to get smelly slightly quicker than I used to, but it’s also getting very hot where I live which may be the only culprit for that. I have a problem with dry legs especially when shaving and it’s gotten a lot better ever since I started using a new set of products. I can’t give all the credit to this as I’ve also been using different lotion and shave cream, but I do think that it’s a helpful factor as a body soap that’s not harsh and doesn’t strip the skin. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin so I can’t speak much to that, but I haven’t gotten any irritation using this.

I like this cleanser bc it's got all natural ingredients (I read through all of them), very nice and faint scent. Perfect for those who have oily skin and get acne very easily.

No fragrance

I like The Seaweed Bath Co.’s Body Cream a lot, so I decided to try the Body Wash. The Unscented seemed like a promising alternative to fragrant gels, when I want to give my senses a break. The Body Wash is a clear shower gel with a tint of brownish green. It has an odd smell, if I stick my nose in it, but I don’t smell anything when it is diluted with water in the shower. This wash contains a variety of oils: coconut oil, neem oil, kukui oil, olive oil, castor seed oil, babassu seed oil. I wondered if it might leave an oily residue. Happily, it does not. The Body Wash leaves my skin feeling less stripped than other shower gels. The skin is clean and free of the oils I wanted to wash off, without losing a lot of moisture. This is a good choice if showering every day, as the Body Wash is not as drying as most shower gels or soaps. It lathers a lot –more than necessary- and washes off clean, leaving nicely conditioned skin. Ingredients: Aqua (Water) with Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladderwrack Seaweed) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe), Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Azadirachta Indica (Neem) Oil, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Spirulina (Blue Green Algae), Vegetable Glycerin, Castile Soap, Chlorophyll, Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate (vegetable derived), Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Allantoin, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Sodium Benzoate (natural version), Lavandula Officinalis (Lavender) Essential Oil, Gluconic Acid (plant derived), Glycol Stearate, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate (vegetable derived), Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil. The rosemary mint and eucalyptus mint scents are very pungent, and not in a good way. Bearable, but definitely not engaging scents. Perhaps it is the combinations used. Seaweed is known to have many hydrating and detoxifying benefits for skin. That is why I purchased this cleanser. It did clean well and left my skin feeling soft, not dried out. I was not allergic to any of the essential oils used to scent the product. Also, two bottles leaked slightly. Just enough to be annoying, but not enough to spur me to ship it back. The company needs to put an inner seal on the bottle under the cap. Amazon had wrapped the product very well, but jostling during shipping likely loosened the manufacturer's cap. I will buy the unscented next time.

My husbands favorite body wash. He mostly loves it because it is clean as well.

I wanted a body wash with Eucalyptus for a nice cool refreshing feel. I came across this brand and thought the price was right (Bath and Bodyworks offers a similar product in the $20 range). I haven't been disappointed, it feels great to use and my skin isn't as dry in Winter anymore. I especially like using this product after shaving and I would recommend it to anyone.
