Great device once you figure out how to connect to the app and use the PC software
The device and the concept deserve a 5 star rating. I don't wear my wedding ring as the sensation on my finger bothers me a lot and I remove my watch when going to bed for the same reason. This device is quite light on the pulse and comfortable on the fingers. The great plus for me is not only the measurement you get during sleep, but the fact it vibrates when your oxygenation levels drop and making you change position in bed (without waking up of course). I slept for two nights with the vibration on at a lower minimum spO2, a night with the vibration off, and a night with higher minimum spO2. Sure enough the results with the vibration off were poor, and with the vibration on and higher minimum spO2 very, very good. The app itself provides all the information you need but it is poorly designed and it isn't clear which app to download either. Trying to connect the device to the app for the first time is another trial and error situation. Once you established your first connection, you are fine, all you need is to turn the device on and the app finds it on the spot. The PC software is a similar story, once you figure out which app to download and connect to the device, you are able to generate a one-pager PDF report and detailed CSV files with the entire log for the night. So pretty good if you need it analysed by a clinician. The battery life isn't great, it is enough for two nights without charging but the thing charges very quickly. It can only store the last 4 measurements so you need to download to the app or PC frequently and I wish it had longer capacity and the CSV data could be generated through the smartphone app.

Good piece of kit but set up instructions in box need improving
This is basically a good piece of kit which works well and produces easy to read reports. I can't confirm its clinical accuracy but then it only claims to provide pointers to potential problems as opposed to diagnostic information. The major criticism I have is about the level of information provided in the box. The user manual is pretty poor in that it provides no information about the need to download a phone app and a step by step guide on how to do it. Nor is the information about how to transfer the computer programme via the memory stick supplied. I'm sure young people who are fully tech savvy will have no problems but for older users like myself, a fully detailed manual in the box with clear instructions about how to set the device up would be very beneficial.

Just what I wanted!
This is an excellent pulse oximeter. I bought it in order to keep an eye on my SpO2 levels whilst asleep as I use a CPAP machine for my sleep apnoea. It was easy to set up and sync with my Android tablet. The presentation of data using the WellOxy Mobile app (from Google Play Store) is impressive. The graphs are detailed, easy to read and provide all the data that I need. There is also a summary of key data. A nice touch is the ability to upload/share the data to cloud storage of your choice. This device is very comfortable to wear, the sensor fitting nicely on my finger.

Extremely Poor Set Up and Operation/Interpretation Instructions
The good points: The Viatom Oximeter looks to be well made and is nicely presented in the package. I have used it just once but it seems to monitor O2 and pulse quite well. I hope it is accurate because it can provide useful data for analysis. It is also comfortable to wear in bed. The negatives: The instruction book is abysmal and the English translation can prove a little difficult to understand. I consider myself to be a 'techy' person but it took me quite a few hours to gather information by trawling through the Internet and reading reviews etc from various alternative sources, in order to set it up and use it. If you are not very 'techy' you could find setting up and using this oximeter a little tricky. I have the impression that this oximeter is manufactured by one generic source then bought and branded by different sellers. This seller has neglected to follow through with a necessary and quality set of instructions. I felt it necessary to view the data and charts on a larger screen so wanted to set it up on my Chromebook. This was not easily possible because there is no app in Google Playstore. You have to search online for an APK file and potentially brick your tablet in order to use it. I then opted to set it up for Windows 10. It is not made clear what and how to set up the software. A small usb drive with software is provided in the box but there are no instructions on what it is for. It is a question of discovery learning. Once set up in Windows 10, I then had to intuitively work out how to use the software. There are no guidelines on interpreting the data in the Windows software. I found the instructions in the booklet were not very good in button pushing to change the oximeters functions. I discovered that the unit can be more easily set up through the Windows software, but again there were no instructions on this. There are also no guidelines on first and subsequent use. I found it more appropriate to switch off the finger buzzer for first use in order to establish your personal base O2 level. If you don't do this and subsequently set the base level too high eg at 92 your finger will constantly buzz all night if and when it drops below 92. When it comes to interpreting the headings and associated data there are absolutely no guidelines. I have had to trawl the Internet on apnoea generally and at this early stage I am still not fully au fait as to what the results mean. What could be a good monitoring system, (providing the oximeter is accurately calibrated of course and I hope it is) it is very much let down by a woeful lack of appropriate set up, operative, and interpretive instructions and information. You have to trawl through the Internet and piece together information from different sources. I now have to use it for a period to determine whether it fulfils my requirements to accurately monitor and log my O2 levels whilst sleeping. I have high hopes that it will, with the added bonus of softly alerting me to adjust my position to improve my O2 level.

D NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM ANY OF THE SEVERAL COMPANIES CLAMING TO HAVE MANUFACTURED IT
The device switches itself of for no reason. This makes it miss significant events. In my case this could be life threatening You cannot turn the buzzer off or alter its settings when it says you can do this on the app. There is not such functionality on the app. The app has no functions other than to download the data The device takes up to 15 minutes to pair. Wellue customer services is only an AI response that doesn't understand what you say to it. There is no Windows app.

Very useful device and definitely recommended
Bought this to replace a similar device which you wear like a self contained ring which originally looked like a neat solution but I found it very inaccurate, particularly oxygen levels and I just could not rely on the data produced. This device is much better and comfortable to wear. Build quality is excellent and I have much greater faith in the readings. It is certainly making me aware of my sleep issues and this understanding will be a big help in improving my condition. Found by chance on a web search and thoroughly recommended.

useful assessment tool
Comfotable and secure to wear, I have found this invaluable in assessing my overnight breathing performance. With a suitable app, the period of measurement is graphically and clearly displayed. I used it to compare my natural overnight breathing performance against the measurements taken when using a CPAP machine. Very enlightening. If I had a grouse, it would be that the finger ring is a little fragile and liable to snap, which is exxactly what happened to me after several months use. To their credit, Viatom immediately provided a new finger ring. Excellent after sales service.

Easy to use and comfortable overnight.
Bought this item to try to find some clues as to my disturbed sleep. The unit arrived on time in a nice little box. The instructions for use were fine and the unit was comfortable to wear overnight. The results were easy to load on my iPad via the app. It was a bit more difficult to load on my PC as the memory stick provided needed some extra files but the manufacturer helped to sort it out. There are more options available on the app than the PC version such as time scale expansion but the PC version allows deletion of readings. Perhaps the two versions could be made compatible. For me the data gave me some comfort that nothing drastic was occurring during the night but I am not medically qualified to analyse the data given. The unit provides clear graphs showing Oxygen levels and heart rates over up to 10 hours periods. It also shows periods of motion but I could see little point to that. Overall the unit works fine, the manufacturer could improve the software to improve data analysis and it may help put your mind at ease if you are waiting 6 months for a hospital test.

Very good - Ottimo prodotto di eccellente qualità realizzativa
In Coronavirus time I was looking for an oximeter and I found this one. Having snoring problems with night apneas, I immediately purchase this one. Those with the problem know how important it is and that the cost is actually adequate. Opening box wasn't easy. You have to slide the outer casing, but the box, which at first glance seems to have the same opening system, has a rather strong magnetic closure. You have to find the crack and open it firmly. I would have preferred a smaller box. It is very elegant, but large to stay confortable on the bedside table. The meter is placed on the wrist like a watch, the sensor on the thumb (or on the index finger if you have a generously sized thumb). Sensor vibrates if the thresholds are exceeded. Material is really excellent and very comfortable to wear: an unusual plastic. It tracks oxygen and pulse. The battery lasts 16 actual hours (of operation); personally I would like bigger battery, it would not have bothered in this position. Recharging takes place via USB ports (charger not supplied) and a special cable provided. Provided with a key with software from PC windows 10 or you can download the WellOxi Mobile app. For synchronization you need to know the device code which is its bluetooth label. For Coronavirus excessive and even uncomfortable if you do not intend to keep it on a long time, but for continuous or night useit is excellent and with more than justified price. I hope, however, that they will expand the truly minimal app, which could give additional added value. Android app, in fact, dated January 16, only allows the visualization of data, the insertion of notes in free text, the sending of the screenshoot. In the store there is also the ViHealth app which hooks, essentially identical, and the Snore02 app not enabled for Europe, which therefore does not hook. Downloaded the app you start the search for the device and you hook it up with the code detectable by the name bluetooth. Then it will automatically align after finishing the measurement cycle (therefore after you have turned it off and on again). I would have liked it to have the sound alarm on smartphone as well as finger version (this one does not have it at the moment).

Bad device
I used this product to control my saturation. At first the bluetooth connection stopped. I could live with that. I watch the results on my laptop. The seller didn't have a solution and Viatom, the producer, asked for video's ?????. After a few weeks it stopped warning when the saturation is to low. Bad device. Don't buy it.
