Spanish Grammar: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels (Barron's Grammar)

I have been studying Spanish as a hobby for about six months now and I can honestly say that this book has accelerated my learning by leaps and bounds. This book alone will not teach a complete beginner how to speak Spanish. Having said that however, this book is a great compliment to any Spanish textbooks or someone taking a class. Every time I pick it up, I learn something new. So many topics here that don't seem to be covered in any of the textbooks or classes I have taken. The section on idioms is especially helpful and this book really cleared up my confusion with regards to the "subjunctive mood." Beginners and intermediate students with a basic working knowledge of Spanish will gain a lot here, but even advanced students and native speakers can benefit as well. Any student of Spanish simply cannot pass this up, easily worth double the price.

This is a well-written pocket grammar. It is a little weak in my weakest point in. Spanish grammar, the possessive pronouns.

I didn't realize that this was a pocket reference. It's small and nice for carrying around with me. However, I wish there were more examples and exercises. Sometimes a section is explained but there are no examples.

I have been studying spanish for some years off and on, since I left high school. It's a great tool to help me refresh what I already know and teach me the basics on newer topics. it's size is small so I like to carry it to work and look through it on my free time. I also love the examples to aid you in the usage of each topic. I recommend it to anyone that wants a complimentary tool to learning the language and who are at a beginner to intermediate level. Such a great buy for a great price!

I bought this book to help me teach Spanish to my children whom I homeschool. It is a wonderful addition to their Spanish course work. I love it so much I sent one to my niece who is in college. Great way to learn or refresh Spanish without all the hard work . This book will help kids or adults of all ages. Very straight to the point.

Very handy pocket guide. I've been a spanish student & tutor for many years. This book is an excellent resource for quick-referencing grammar rules. Easy to understand and concise, I highly recommend it for any student.

Pocket sized grammar that could be carried around easily. There are no exercises, but the size outweighs that. This is a reference for grammar that has already been studied with some other book or method. It would have helped to know what to expect if the dimensions had been given. It's smaller than the average paperback novel. This should be a great help when I get a little further along in re-learning the Spanish I studied in college.

Good if you have some knowledge of the Spanish language and want to know more. If you simply want a book on tourist phrases, there are probably better ones out there. But for grammar this works very well. It covers nagging issues like direct versus indirect pronouns and also which article goes with the verb. Pocket sized, but packs a lot of info into a small space.

This book is perfect for those who have basics in Spanish. Helps to cover all topics very succinctly. Was helpful to improve my Spanish grammar.

Contains all the rules that you can find easily on the internet. Almost no explaination to help readers to understand why and how the grammar works.
