Works great.

The trick to getting them to lay flat is put it in your box. Leave it in the hot sun for a few hours. I’m a builder and that’s the easiest way to get rubber bosses and heavy gauge extension cords to coil nicely. I’ll let you know mine comes tomorrow. I built my own sluice with wood, scotch right pads and paint roller racks. With this mat I’ve got $40 invested

These mats are fantastic for sluicing. They clean up way easier than carpet or miners moss. The variety of different rib heights and pocket sizes allows for better fine and small gold entrapment.

It is thicker than I anticipated, which is good I guess but it makes it difficult to cut.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Used this for my folding backpack sluice replacing expanded metal/miners moss.Where I am it's all Glacial till gold also called flour gold. My only complaint which is a good complaint is that it captured a lot of concentrates!! Sure glad to have classifiers and a cleanup sluice.

Honestly I think my miners miss did a better job. This mat doesn’t hold gold as well as people say. I have seen several nice pieces caught up in my indicator mat and they disappear due to their size and they end up getting washed out because they never show up in my pan after I clean up. It fills with sand in the smaller riffles and they don’t clean out very well. You have to clean this mat more often or your gold will roll off the edge of your sluice.

Bought a 50 inch travel sluice and wanted a rubber mat for much of it not just miners moss. Was able to trim this easily and use it in the sluice.

Don’t know if someone will do something about it but here’s the beef , don’t roll them up when you ship them or they will never lay flat again. The product seems top quality but shipping did damage there ability to perform. Very sad they are deformed.

I love the looks of it...I tried to make a silicon matt...lol it's in the garbage...this is nice n thick rolls nicely I can't wait to try it...it looks alot like other more expensive matts...I'll pop back in in a couple weeks...
