The worst corded phone I have ever owned. Material is cheap looking and lightweight; base is so flimsy that it won’t stay on the desk when the receiver is lifted. Sound quality is terrible; seems like talking through tin cans joined by a string, and there is lots of interference on the line. Ringer cannot be turned off and has only “lo” and “hi” for a volume control, and ring sounds like a sick duck quacking. All around disappointing product. (Of course it was made in China). I will be returning.

I assumed the 3 phones I ordered had speakers & my mistake as they were not practical. I returned 2 of the 3 phones. My oversight as phones did not meet our needs. They were not well made but you get what you pay for.

I hung one of these up in my Pantry (command center) and put one in our master bedroom. We haven't had a land line phone in over 9 years, but we have a toddler now, and sometimes our older kids babysit for us and I really wanted them to really have an emergency phone at the ready if need be. I didn't want to depend on their cell phones (location triangulation)?? and also, these are line powered (no plug in required) so should work in the event of a power outage (power comes from the service provider) .... SOOOOOO.... I taught everyone how to dial 911 (I think it was the 12 year old's first time hearing dial tone!) and wrote 911 on the phone in sharpie and marked the numbers with dots (for the toddler) and now I feel a little better should mom or dad fall down etc... Crazy? Maybe, but I'm happy to spend $13 to give myself a little piece of mind!

Works as advertised. Phone base is a bit too light though, and I don't see a way to change the receiver disconnect. It is designed to wall mount, so if on a table, you have to push foreword slightly to disengage the base. Other than that small issue, works just fine.

Very light weight and not well made.

The base cradle is so light, it comes up off the desk, with the phone, when you answer it, because the cord is so short! What's that about!? When you try to cradle the phone under your chin, your face will press buttons. I had to tape the cradle down, to the desk, and use double sided carpet layer's tape to make the cradle stay on the desk, when answering. It's fine, as long as you bolt it to ta wall. The call ID screen is microscopic! You need the James Webb telescope, and an electron microscope to see the bloody thing! There isn't much spacing between the keys, so us blind users have a terrible time finding the right buttons. The keys DON'T even light up! What's up with that? when you talk into the phone, you hear feedback, and your own voice, in a very distorted form, in the earpiece. There is no handset volume, so it's NOT Americans with Disabilities Act compliant. It would cost more to ship back, than it cost to buy it. SO TIRED OF CHINESE GARBAGE!

Poor material quality. Received with faulty buttons. Just returned back. Two stars only because of Amazon staff who were very cooperative and refunded me in 2 days.
