It is designed to use with polishing compounds as a final polishing stage. **Q: Will this work on a disc sander?** A: I would not try it. I think it would spin too fast, causing the pad to burn up. I only use mine on a random orbital polisher, just because it does not spin that fast. Now depending on your disc sander, if you can lower the speed down, you could try it, but be very careful. **Q: Do I need any other pad beside this one to remove the scratch from the glass window?** A: Dear S. This pad can remove and polish the glass window. But you need to add some "Cerium Oxide" with water to polishing. Too deep scratch also can not remove. You need to use "special diamond pad" first. This pad good for polish. Scratching effect just so so if you only use normal detergent. Sander is very important. **Q: Can these by used with a DA and rotary?** A: I use mine with a DA. Can’t see why it can’t be used on a rotary.
