Great product
I started using this shampoo recently and wasn’t really expecting anything dramatic, but it actually ended up helping more than I thought it would. I picked it up after dealing with some irritation around my scalp and hairline that just wouldn’t go away. I had some small bumps and itchiness that would come and go, and it seemed worse whenever I was stressed or after long days when my scalp felt oily and uncomfortable. I had tried a few other products before this, including some medicated treatments, but nothing seemed to make a noticeable difference. I’ll admit I’m usually a little doubtful when products highlight a lot of “natural” ingredients because sometimes that feels more like advertising than actual effectiveness. But after using this for a few days in a row, I started noticing my scalp feeling calmer and less irritated. It seems like it does a really good job of cleansing the scalp and getting rid of buildup that can clog hair follicles and cause irritation. One thing I really like is how it feels when you use it. It has a light cooling sensation that makes your scalp feel refreshed, especially if it’s been itchy or irritated. It leaves a subtle tingly feeling that’s actually pretty soothing. The scent is also nice, it has a clean tea tree smell that feels fresh without being overpowering. When you first apply it, the scent is a little strong, but once you rinse it out and your hair dries it fades into a much softer, clean smell. Another thing I noticed is that you don’t need very much product for it to work well. Even though the bottle isn’t huge, a small amount lathers up nicely if you massage it into your scalp properly. Because of that, the bottle seems like it will last a while. After my scalp started improving, I didn’t feel like I had to use it every single day either. Using it every couple of days has been enough to keep things feeling balanced. Overall, I’m really glad I decided to give this shampoo a try. It ended up working better than several other things I had already tried. If you’re dealing with scalp irritation, bumps, or buildup and nothing else has helped much, this might be worth testing out. It definitely surprised me in a good way.

Finally shampoo that works for my folliculitis !!!
I struggled with scalp folliculitis for a long time, It started with small itchy bumps on my scalp, but over time it got worse. The bumps turned into painful red spots, sometimes filled with pus, and my head got covered by tiny little and painful sores, not to mention constant itching, burning, and even some hair thinning for some odd reason only on the back of my head. I was always scratching, and it made me embarrassed, especially after haircuts. To make the story short, I went to doctors first. I saw a dermatologist and was given antibiotics, medicated creams, and special lotions.I started the treatment and as many people also mention , at first it starts working and the symptoms would calm down for a short time, then come right back.Very frustrating :( I also went to traditional treatments at home like tea tree oil, sulfur shampoos, azelaic acid shampoos, i tried shampoos with charcoal even to the point where I started changing pillow cases like every day, and keeping my scalp extra clean. Still no real result Then I moved on to over-the-counter products. I tried popular dandruff and antifungal shampoos like Head and Shoulders - that didnt help. Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo because many people online said it helps with scalp issues. It did help a little with flakes and itching since it targets fungus , but my folliculitis bumps and irritation were still there. I also tried different “natural” shampoos and even some strong chemical ones. Some dried my scalp out, others made it more oily. Nothing gave real relief. One of my relatives actually suggested to try Ovante shampoo, she used it before and it did help her with her dandruff. After a few uses, I noticed the itching started to calm down. The burning feeling reduced, and my scalp didn’t feel as irritated. Now, a month later i can tell that, all my red bumps have become less frequent and less painful and my scalp is 95% clear, i still have a little tiny drying bump here and there but i can tell it will disappear soon. My scalp finally started to feel clean without being dry or greasy. According to product info, it’s made to help with symptoms like itching, redness, and scaling using ingredients like sulfur and essential oils , which may explain why it worked better for me. The biggest difference compared to other folliculitis treatments that I tried was relief. I am not constantly thinking about my scalp anymore. Last week i noticed go through the all week without scratching or feeling uncomfortable. I am sooo happy !!!!! I know folliculitis can be different for everyone—some people deal with bacterial causes, others fungal—but for me, finding the right shampoo made all the difference after trying so many things that didn’t work. If you’re dealing with scalp folliculitis, just know, it can take time, trial and error, and patience like it did for me. But finding something that actually helps is possible—and when you do, the relief feels amazing and i will recommend this shampoo to everyone if you have dandruff folliculit or greasy itchy scalp.

How to use
Like others have mentioned the scent isnt pleasing but that is not why you're buying this product, its for Folliculitis and I've tried it like a normal shampoo but does little to no affect, but I do get better results when i leave it on my head overnight where the Folliculitis is, it acts the same way what the doctor gave me which was a anti fungal cream but that just calms it down it never removes it. the difference is I paid the doctor 100+ dollars to prescribe me a cream and then pay 10-15 extra at the pharmacy to get it , also prescriptions expire and the doctor decides how much he wants to give you. so overall its better than getting medication for Folliculitis. Ill continue buying and using it for more months definitely a treatment not a cure. Update: removed a star because they increased the price from $25 to $35.

Not impressed
Ok after these long month using it, I just say this doesn’t work as most people say. I have been dealing with I don’t even know what is called anymore, so many names that people give but in short I get acne really bad one on the back of my head, I guess since I never had to suffer from acne during my younger life now life is making sure that I get a taste of it, I have used from pure alcohol to these shampoos and nothing seems to work, except for the oxy 10 but then again I have to apply it everyday and no cure. Just to be clear I also gave some to a friend with the same problem but less severe as mine and his went away, but this is the way you should try it if you have it also mild, first use your normal shampoo the regular brand you normally use, why? So that you can get rid of oils, dirt from your hair, that will make this shampoo to stick better to your hair and skin, I usually massage my head for about 2-3 minutes and leave it on for at least 5 minutes, now keep in mind the smell of sulfur is greater than any other ingredient in it, so you will be smelling like sulfur through out the day. Now, I’m giving 3 stars because even when it didn’t help me, at least made my outbreaks less painful or bigger bumps, but that’s pretty much all.

This stuff works.
Title says it all. This stuff works. That’s really all you need to know. But here’s my long review if you want to know more… For the past few years, I was having this scalp issue. It had gradually become worse and worse - spreading over a larger area and even beginning on the right side (was originally on the left only.) I didn’t know what it was but I tried various shampoos and herbal/home remedies. Nothing worked. I finally went in to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as scalp folliculitis and gave me a prescription medicated shampoo and topical antibiotic. Still no relief. Some things I tried seemed to clear it up initially but never completely and never for more than a week or so. Then I found this shampoo. I have been using it for a month now and just bought another bottle. (ETA it’s actually been about seven weeks so almost two months.) The itchiness is gone. The flaking is gone. All but one sore is gone. I use the shampoo at least every other day. If I do go to day three, I will have some thicker flakes/scaling show up but they’re very mild and only in one small area (the original area where it all began). A single shampooing will clear them up. Very recently, I did have a couple very small sores flare up - but like the flaking, they immediately cleared up after I washed it. The last sore I have left still has improved but it simply will not go away. I’m thinking it’s a cyst, ingrown hair, or something like that and will require another trip for the doctor to actually remove whatever it is. But aside from that, it’s all cleared up! Things worth noting: It has sulfur in it. Most hair will love it but it can be damaging for some. My hair loves it and it has more volume than normal. It stinks. The scent sometimes lingers. Sometimes I will wash *just the length, not the scalp* with another shampoo. It doesn’t lather well. Occasionally it will a little bit if you apply a small amount of water and rub it in your hands before applying it to your scalp. But usually it doesn’t. This can be hard to get used to if you’re used to chemical-laden shampoos that lather a lot. Just put some of this shampoo on your fingers and rub it into your scalp well, concentrating on the worst areas. You may think it’s not going to clean your hair but it does! Just work it in well with your fingers. Once you have it worked in, let it sit for a few minutes. Then add a little bit of water and work it in a bit more before rinsing. Did I mention it actually works?!

Did not work for me.
I don’t know how this stuff got so many positive reviews and such a high rating but it just does not work. I traveled for work and visited a random barbershop for a haircut and since then I’ve been battling these extremely painful bumps on my scalp and nape. I purchased this about a month ago and I’ve used about half the bottle so far and I see zero change in my condition. What a waste of my time and money.

Title: Works Well for Folliculitis – Gentle and Effective Review: I’ve been struggling with folliculitis for a while, and this shampoo has made a noticeable difference. It’s gentle on the scalp, doesn’t irritate, and helps reduce redness and bumps. The formula feels soothing, and I noticed improvements after a few washes. It also has a pleasant, mild scent. I recommend using it consistently as part of your routine. It’s become a key part of my hair care for managing folliculitis, and I feel more confident in my scalp’s health. Pros: • Gentle on sensitive skin • Reduces bumps and irritation • Pleasant scent • Works with regular use Cons: • Needs consistent use for best results Overall, I’m very satisfied with this shampoo and would recommend it to anyone dealing with folliculitis.

Really Works on psoriatic Scalp Issues
This hair product after reading reviews (both positive/negative) had me question its efficacy, so I bought it. Upon application it has a very strong compositional blend (almost like dog shampoo) but, leaves my hair quite sensational, curlier, with this unbelievable subtlety that makes the original fragrance stand out— like a hair salon. Very very nice and pleasant smelling. But, it dies take approximately 4-5 weeks and using other hair shampoos for psoriasis in-between shampoos (2-3x a week) plus an antifungal shampoo (Ketoconozale 2% Shampoo) once a week for the first month and a half. The hardened psoriasis on top of my scalp was finally resolved using this hair product very consistently along with proper care. Eventually this problem of follicular is begins to work once in use for over a month’s time. The results are pretty amazing. And even though there is still a presence of persistent areas of concern—it does gradual clear up over time. Highly recommended with regular use. And after swimming in replacement of other swimming hair products or other types of products for hair build-up. Leaves hair manageable without a hair conditioner, or use one only on the hair strands and not the scalp if it is not the same brand—the hair will be straighter in appearance if it’s normally curly or wavy textured. Color-safe, and effective for reducing dandruffs and other hair problems.
