Great chair! No more neck strain!!
This chair arrived promptly and was packaged neatly. It was quick to put together. It's also very cute, but even if it wasn't, I'd probably keep it because it is the comfiest office chair I've ever had. I suffer from chronic issues with my joints, and my neck starts hurting pretty immediately if sitting in a poor position. Most office chairs hurt like hell for me. Well, I am able to position this thing so there is no strain on my neck at all! My neck is fully supported when reclining just a tiny bit, and arranging the little pillow. I can work for hours in this chair! The footrest isn't the sturdiest, but I don't use it much, and I'm not very big (5'4, 120lbs). My husband tried it and said he wouldn't feel comfortable using the footrest, but that he loved the chair itself. He's gonna buy himself one now! I recommend this chair to anyone!

Good chair however armrests move easily and wheels are a little wonky
Female 5'3" 150lbs I ordered the OHAHO gaming chair on January 13, 2024 and received it on the 18th (one day earlier than expected). I paid $138.76 including tax and free shipping. Packaging was good and all parts required for assembly were present (including an Allen wrench and extra screws). I found the directions easy to follow and assembly took me 1.5 hours. I was able to build this chair by myself except for placing the chair on the gas cylinder. All components work as expected. Please note that the arm rest move easily and the wheels to move awkwardly (there is no lock feature). In the upright position my head is in line with the top of the chair and about 5in away from the top when fully reclined. My ankles and feet hang just over the edge of the foot rest. I felt comfortable and secure in all positions. I found the chair padding to be firm, but not uncomfortable (I may consider a chair cushion in the future). Overall I am happy with my purchase and it filled my requirements (reclining with foot rest). I would recommend this chair and my husband is now considering purchasing one. I plan on editing my review after some time has passed.

Good chair so far after 3 weeks
** Things I love: ** - Color (the black and yellow is so awesome!) - The pillow headrest - The footrest - The lumbar support and the massager - Easy to assemble (took me about an hour by myself) - Wheels don't roll around too easily (this is important because my office has a floor that's definitely not level, so in my old chair, I'd find myself randomly rolling backwards and I'd have to constantly scoot forward; not so with this chair) - Comfortable for 6+ hours of sitting (although around 8 hours, my butt starts to get a little sore) ** Things I don't love: ** - The arm rests pivot in and out to make it easy for however you want your arms resting, but they pivot a little *too* easily, all it takes is a simple nudge and the arm rests click into another position (horizontally, not vertically - the vertical adjustment works just fine) - After only about 3 weeks of having this chair, it's already squeaking every time I move. Not sure if I tightened the bolts too much? - While the assembly was very easy, the first step of putting two of the legs on the wheel base was tricky, and I don't know if this was just me being dumb (which is a good possibility LOL), but the yellow plates need to be taken off *before* snapping the legs into place, and even then, it was difficult. I made my husband put them on because I was struggling. This step was not included in the directions, so something to keep in mind if you get this chair. - While I do love the built-in massager, really it is nothing more than a little motor that goes in the lumbar pillow and it's just kind of stuffed in there as if it was an afterthought. It does the trick, though. - Footrest is great but does feel a little flimsy like if I jolt too hard on it, it'll snap. Also, the footrest definitely works best with the chair in the recline position; if you have the footrest pulled out while the back of the chair is in the full upright position, it feels like you're going to tip over. ** Final thoughts ** Overall, I really do love the chair, just a few little things that I've noticed and I wanted to give my full and honest review for anyone who's shopping for reliable gaming chairs! For the price point, I'd say this is a good purchase.

Great ergo chair for my back and neck
I've been using this chair to work from home for the past couple of weeks now and I have to say, it's made a HUGE difference for my back and neck. I can work for hours straight sitting in this thing and not feel any strain on my neck. The lumbar back support is great, the vibration massager is stronger than I was expecting. It does ease some fatigue throughout the day if I run it for about 10 min every now and then while I'm working. The massager plugs in with a USB chord. The neck pillow is pretty soft and I mainly keep the leg rest out. The leg rest for me is the biggest plus. The chair is really comfortable when reclined back and the leg rest is out. There are some cons to this chair but it's more of a personal preference. I'm giving it 5 stars because it has completely eliminated my neck and back pains. The cons that I do have for it are more personal preference things and I've found alternate solutions Pros: - Aesthetically the nicest gaming chair I came across on Amazon. I bought the white and black - Leg rest is comfortable and easy to use. You have to manually flip it out - Very easy to assemble (just follow the instruction pictures) took me about 20-30 min. to assemble - Chair has completely eliminated my neck and back pains - Chair feels sturdy and can recline pretty far back Cons: - Seat cushion is pretty hard/firm. Right now I sit on a memory foam pillow on this chair and it's really comfortable when doing that. But I wish the seat cushion was as soft as the footrest, then I wouldn't need my memory foam pillow on top - The arm rest's left/right swiveling can't lock in place. It's pretty sensitive, there's no way to lock it into place. It just gets annoying to me when getting in and out of the chair

Comfortable chair & great customer service!
I'll start out by saying that I got the wrong colors. I received pink & white when I ordered red & black. But after contacting the seller they were VERY quick to get me the correct colored chair and I appreciate that so much! Now finally having the correct chair I have to say it was fairly easy to assemble and didn't take that long either! The instructions were clear and easy to read (at least for me!). Now for the actual chair it's comfy and nice looking! I love the little head pillow and how you can recline back and pretty much adjust the chair to the most comfortable way you need! The massaging pillow is a nice little feature even if it's not strong but it's nice you can remove it if you need too! There are 2 things I have issues with though. One is the foot rest that you pull out. It's very flimsy and with my feet on it, it weighs it down and brings the chair forward a little which makes it a bit uncomfortable so I probably wont be using that much (which I was a little bummed about but maybe I just need to get use to it better!) And the other thing is the arm rests. I wish there was a lock feature to keep them in place because you can turn them left, right and center but they move rather easily which can be annoying at times. And I also wish it was more padded because I have bony elbows and resting them on the armrests aren't that comfortable LOL. Overall I'm giving this 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoy the chair and it's what I was looking for! And also because of how great the customer service is! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a gaming chair!

Really well made
Brilliant. While this is in fact my first "gaming chair" specifically, I have been a gamer, in chairs, for a very long time. IBM DOS was still a thing long ago. Microsoft wasn't a thing yet long. I have also spent an inordinate amount of time in desk chairs for my career... which, oddly enough, was not programming (I got pissed when IBM sold DOS to some unheard of startup that COMPLETELY CHANGED THE FRIKKIN LANGUAGE!!!). My daughter and I both bought the same chair in different color schemes. Months later, couldn't be happier on all fronts. Only thing I could see improvement in is the pivoting of the arm pads - one more click inward would make it address a fuller range of positions one accesses their human interfaces at. Keyboard and mouse aren't the only gaming interfaces out there. Some require your arm to be more centralized that the current limit allows Perhaps slightly less cupping to the arm-pads, if changing the pivoting is not feasible structurally (which I doubt). That cupping interferes with compensating for the lack of cross-body angle for center located joystick (I am referring to a flight stick specifically, but the same issue arises with a steering wheel. The arms are about 15 degrees shy of where my arm needs to be for that reach. A flatter surface to the pads would remove that issue entirely. Not a huge problem at all, and easily accommodated for, but one that requires addressing on long gaming sessions. Still a fantastic chair and I can't suggest it enough. Fully recommend.

DO NOT GET, pretty but breaks easily
The chair is gorgeous and I love it. The massage function is impractical as you have to be plugged into a USB and I move my chair around too much for that to not cause problems. I have a lot of issues with it sinking though. It goes up with the lever but sinks all the way back down within 10 minutes. Honestly, if I needed a new one I wouldn't get this one because of that. My desk is too high to sit comfortably all the way down. It's too frustrating to keep adjusting the chair and I just end up with my arm and wrist super uncomfortable before realizing the chair sunk *again* I like the chair a lot but I'm debating on returning it because it defeats the purpose of getting a comfy desk chair if I'm not comfortable. Update: company sent me a new gas canister after i threatened to return it. I replaced it after a week and it continued sinking just slower and I thought I was going crazy. By then return window was over. It started sinking consistently by January and in May the chair won't even go up. I love the aesthetic of this chair but DO NOT get this chair. I'm short and it sucks because I got a gaming chair to be comfortable for long periods of time and I'm not comfortable at all in it. I'm looking into getting a new one which is awful given how expensive it was and I haven't even had it for 9 months. Update 8/6/23- This chair is deteriorating beneath me. I don't have it in me to buy another expensive chair at the moment and still have it. About two weeks ago the footrest broke. I fixed it with plastic glue but the bracket snapped. Today the bracket fully shattered in pieces. The chair also started sinking again about 2 months after replacing the canister and in the past month has sunk every time I sit in it. The chair is so cute and so comfy but so awful

Read This Review: Considering bang for the buck - would I buy it again? A resounding Yes.
Update: 1 year after purchace. The gas cylinder has now failed. After sitting in the chair for somewhere between 5 to 15 minutes the gas cylinder releases and the chair gently sinks to the bottom. I will have to purchase a new gas cylinder and hope that I can get the old one out of this chair to make it useful once again. I have also found that the armrests are not long enough and therefore catch on everything from my headphone cables to my bathrobe shirt sleeves. I have removed the most offensive one from the left side and hope the chair can be repaired with a new gas cylinder. I almost never use the leg rest so those are like bunny ears on a bull. Rating is reduced from a five star to three. Initial review - 1 yeay ago I read all the reviews of various chairs. I severely needed to replace my old office chair which was about 10 years old (see photo - duct tape on the right hand arm rest). This chair by Ohaho had a zillion purchases and rating-wise was par for the course at about 4.6 stars out of 5, and price wise at $140 was within my budget - so I dropped the hammer on it. It arrived 6 days later and I put it together today on Day 7. As you can see, my cat was the first one to enjoy this chair :-P. Straight forward assembly - HOWEVER - I was GLAD I'd read some of the reviews on the assembly Because - as one reviewer noted you MUST REMOVE THE Decorative Covers from the leg extensions (see photos) BEFORE you install them !!! They pop off to the top and then push back on. I needed to use a 2-Lb rubber mallet to install these leg extensions !! NO WAY I could just push them on !! So that's a detractor. One reviewer wondered WHY Ohaho had built the base needing 2 leg extensions - and the answer is obvious when you look at the packing. They needed the short legs with extensions so that the base would FIT INTO THE smallest box possible - to minimize shipping costs. They DO warn you NOT to touch the seat-back spring lever during assembly! Very important - as you could severely pinch your fingers were that lever to be disengaged !! It also took me a few minutes to confirm that the M8x20 bolts were used for Both the chair raising mechanism AND the arm rests. The instructions were a bit confusing unless you looked very carefully at the diagram on page 6 regarding the location of the M8-20 and the M6-30 bolts. Another pointer - when adding the leg cushion sliding brackets to the bottom of the chair - do NOT tighten them all the way at the beginning. Snug the bolts up and THEN slide the leg cushion rods into the brackets. Wiggle that assembly a bit until the cushion slides in and out easily. Then remove the cushion, tighten the bolts, and THEN put the cushion on with the rubber rings. I have NOT had a problem regarding the arm-rest rotation to the side noted by other reviewers complaining about that. What I do NOT like about the arm rests - is they do not extend far enough to the rear to support your arms when you recline the seat back. I found the chair quite comfortable as is (I weigh 160#) - but did choose to move the chair cushion from my old chair to the new. I also think the seat cushion tilts upward somewhat putting slight pressure on the back of my legs - but this is alleviated by dropping the seat down just a little. The rocking mechanism works well - but I think it is a little stiffer than I would like at it's loosest setting. The massaging lumbar cushion is an extra - nice to have - but it does tether your chair to your computer or other USB power source. Sure - you could buy a USB power brick - but that would just be money. Overall - considering bang for the buck - would I buy it again? A resounding Yes.
