New landline phones from Panasonic did not come with headphone jacks in the handsets. While they can connect by Bluetooth to an iPhone which can connect to AirPods, that seemed less than ideal. This handset has a 2.5mm headphone jack and my old headphone works perfectly with it. As a bonus, it is rugged and sealed against wet weather.

basically i like the product. However, it seems to lose signals when I walk around the house even with a Wi-Fi extender.

We use them at the repair garage and my husband always drop the cordless. Since we got them he has not dropped them at all. I believe because of the rubber grip on the cordless phone.

The first one of these handsets that I received was defective and caused severe static on the other end of the call when the speakerphone was switched on. The replacement unit works perfectly well, The phone itself is significantly larger and heavier than the standard handset, and the charger base is not interchangeable with those of the standard units. I have no plans to test its immersibility, but it appears to be suitable for use around water. I would buy it again for use outside.

I purchased this headset when an ad for the "rugged" device was included with my KX-TG985SK 5 headset phone system. I thought it would be a good garage and poolside phone. I tried to ascertain whether this handset was compatible with my base, but there was no information about it anywhere on the Panasonic website and my question on this page was not answered specifically. I figured if the ad for the handset came with my phone system, then it would be compatible. It was quickly shipped. I charged and registered the handset to the baseunit without problems. Unfortunately, the dial tone, once registered, was distorted and warbling. Calls made on this handset sound like you are in an echo chamber both on this unit and the unit that is called using this unit. It sounds like a toy phone. For $70 dollars, that is simply unacceptable. I will mention here that I went to the Panasonic website to troubleshoot this phone. All I can say is: Good Luck! The phone is not even on the catalogue of items for sale and not mentioned once on their support page. I suppose they are embarrassed. The useless thing is being returned.

The best of Panasonic in my opinion because the audio makes it easy for us old people to hear. Better clarity, louder, good sound than the average land phones. I was ready to throw Panasonic phones under the bus, but this one is waterproof and I use the most, having bought another one. I live in an large home, and use one on each level. I had dropped my regular handset one too many times and was thrilled to find this one. It is rugged and waterproof plus it has a flash light which I love to use walking around outside in the evening. I never go out without a phone and this has a long slim easy to use clip for on your blouse or waistband. It linked up to my Panasonic base in 5 seconds importing all of my saved phone numbers. I would recommend it to anyone asking.

Tout a bien fonctionné. Il c'est connecté immédiatement. Comparé avec les autres combinés Panasonic, il est beaucoup plus gros. Étanche, supporte bien le froid, testé à -15 0C sans problème. Le seul point négatif il est unilingue anglais parce qu'il ne se vend pas au canada seulement aux USA.

Purchased this phone thinking it had Bluetooth to connect my cell phone to it like It says. But there is no Bluetooth available on it.
