I have an Epson EH-TW5210 which, combined with a Hoya Pro 1 polarizing filter gave me a very good picture on a "tack to the wall" £20 screen. But it was a bit too dark and the screen had a sort of pebble-dash finish which I became more and more aware of behind the image. I built this screen all by myself and laid it against the wall covering some of the existing screen for comparison, and got the shock of my life. The £20 screen had a yellow tint to it, whereas this was pure white. It is also perfectly smooth and the 1.2 gain nicely offsets the darkness of the Hoya Pro 1 without losing its benefits. I am absolutely delighted with this screen and think it is excellent value for money compared to the dearer alternatives. The colours are rich, the picture is sharp with more detail, and it literally just "pops". To me, it perfectly recreates the look and depth of a cinema screen, and that's what it's about, isn't it?
