Phase Essential Wireless DVS Controller

I have been spinning records since 1984 and have experienced ALL of the growing pains associated with this craft. From belt drive turntables to warped records, skipping needles, crate carrying, learning to beat match BY EAR....etc. Once Serato was out and about....YES....innovation at it's best. NOW with PHASE hitting the market, THIS IS A LEGIT GAME CHANGER. Very easy to install and set up. No more worries about feedback, occasional skips, or any of the painstaking nuances associated with turntablism. Response is immediate and exact to include allowing one to be aggressive with the turntable without fear of any mishaps. This program works on a signal being sent to the receiver from the two leads without the actual turntable being plugged into the mixer. The PHASE receiver is plugged in instead. Works with Serato, Traktor and a few other programs. I Love my PHASE and also when you use this product it allows you to save your needles as you won't need them!!! This is a plus since SHURE went out of business. The next step in DJ'ing is HERE...…..Artist Relations Manager "OP" from Serato has a very good video on You Tube showing how to set this bad boy up!!!!!!!!

It's amazing that you can get the immediate response from a wireless device. I mean ZERO delay when scratching, and it's JUST WOW.

I wish they had these 35 years ago when I was DJing at the clubs. I was skeptical of buying these at first because, well; I'm an old-school DJ so I used Shure and Ortofon needles throughout my career. After watching videos and reading reviews of the Phase Essentials wireless controller, I figured since I switched to a Pioneer DVS mixer and started using Serato DJ Pro, why not try this. It is spot on with the cue points and it sits still in position on my Technics 1200's while I move the control vinyl back and forth. These would've saved me a lot of money replacing needles and stylus' years ago.

I've been a DJ since the .... well let's just say long time! :) I still have crates of vinyl, many crates! I stopped DJing because of kids, family and time. Earlier last year I got back into it and found so much has changed! You guys are cheating now!! No fair!! I had to carry crates and crates of records around everywhere! Now I can carry around my laptop a and controller! I'm happy to have the tech now though. So much easier and fun now too. Last year I started with Serato and Pioneer XP2, to go along with my 1200s. I like it! Nice set up for me. A few months ago I found out about Phase and bought a set. What?!?! This is crazy!! no needles! I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first. After having Phase for a few months and playing around with the beta software. It's so good! I don't have to worry about needles or the skipping. If you are on the fence, I recommend getting Phase and trying it out. My only drawback with Phase is that you there's no "Absolute" feature. I can see why there isn't, but it does make it hard to set up cues. I would have to do that anyway with a new track. But I don't really need that feature when I'm listening to a new track, I set my cues on first listen.

It did, but I did have some issues with it. When I turn it on and get connected then 15min pass i get disconnected and I have to reconnect it. It's simple to reconnect but I don't like that. It only does it once everytime i connect to the phase.

The construction of unit is well made I have not ran into any software issues with the last update everything works as it's supposed to I use tractor Pro 3 and I've had no issues I've also seen two or three of my buddies that have this as well and they use it with Serato really great alternative if you have analog tables and would like to save your needles for other things and upgrade to DVS control. I have DJ'd while they're practicing and using it multiple times for 2 or 3 hours and not had an issue with battery life at all usually would be done and have still about 40% 40 to 45% left battery life is good response is good the latency is negligible and to be expected with a radio transmitter but other than that I think it's a great technology for that DJ that wants to try something new

These work perfect and no issues after 4 months of use. I am using with Serato in HID mode. I can save my needles for actual vinyl and use these when playing digital files. Update: My phase unit failed after 6 months. Phase tech support was excellent. They paid for the shipping to have the unit returned to them for repair evaluation. They replaced my failed device with a brand new unit at no charge and even covered shipping costs from Paris. The turnaround time was very fast as well. They truly support their products.

El trasto cumple su función, esta bien fabricado con buenos materiales y trae buenos cables, pegatinas instrucciones y los 4 stickers. El montaje no es muy difícil y viene bién explicado lo único que dependiendo de la configuración que uses te puedes liar un poco como me pasó a mi. Lo uso con una Audio6, un Djm800 y el Traktor 2 y no tiene mucho secreto, si usas toda la movida de vinilos de codigo de tiempo e interfaces de audio tipo serato, traktor, recordbox o tienes por ejemplo una mesa de mezclas de estas mas nuevas que ya traen la interfaz de audio dvs integrada es genial nunca más te vas a volver a gastar un euro en agujas, cápsulas, repuestos, vinilos, etc, etc... Dicho esto queda claro que cumple su objetivo y tiene muchos pros aunque para mi modo de ver hay un par de cosas a tener en cuenta: siendo realista no es una compra imprescindible ni obligatoria a menos que tuvieras los discos y agujas o los platos jodidos. El tacto y respuesta estan bién con algunos peros, podría ser más preciso sobretodo cuando paras el disco y en según que momentos de scratch, backspinning, etc... En cuanto al tema calibración y montaje es sencillo como antes decía, en mi caso lo que pasaba es que al principio de todo no tenía muy claro donde debía conectar los platos ya que normalmente en mi setup los conectaba a las entradas de la interfaz de audio6 y luego al mixer. La calibración al principio te puede dar error o que no reconozca los remotes, en este caso el fallo fue mío y eso que lo pone en las instrucciones: cuando tengas cargados los remotes y antes de sacarlos de donde los cargas hay que apretar como 3 segundos primero el botón A que parpadeará y luego lo mismo con el B, ahora al ponerlos encima de los platos se calibrarán en zero coma. Por último puede parecer una obviedad recordar que (en mi caso como no tengo un mixer dvs integrado) al conectar el Phase y la tarjeta de audio6 lo había hecho asignando las salidas del Phase A y B a unas entradas de la tarjeta de audio A y B, por tanto si A es el plato izquierdo pondremos el remote A encima del plato izquierdo y no al revés. En conclusión es una buena maquinita con buena tecnología, innovadora, eficaz y bien construida, ahora mismo ya no sale tan cara y es una buena opción aunque no imprescindible es decir si tu vas bién con los dvs y vinilos y demás y no te importa de vez en cuando cambiar una cápsula de la aguja o comprar un vinilo de código de tiempo nuevo no creo que sientas la necesidad o que notes mucha diferencia o mejora la verdad.

Risparmio assoluto per quanto riguarda le testine che li userò solo con dischi normali , invece per i Time Code di Serato, Virtual dj e Tracktor , Recordbox, sono benvenuti a poter usufruire delle mie nuove PHASE . Nell'ultimo aggiornamento hanno portato delle migliorie che li fanno essere molto piu affidabili e puoi usare il software per scegliere il colore in base alle tue esigenze e riconoscere meglio su quale lato va configurato .Consigliati per chi possiede già un prodotto Serato pro, Virtual dj ,Tracktor , Recordbox attivati . Non si possono usare senza uno di questi software e un pc .La configurazione e facile , devi solo seguire le istruzioni , altrimenti su youtube si trovano tanti tutorial . Prima dell'uso collegateli al pc e installate il software PHASE MWM , per vari update .Ricordatevi dopo l'uso, di rimettergli a ricaricare . Buon divertimento.

Das Phasesystem funktioniert bei mir tadellos und sehr präzise so, dass ich nichts zu beanstanden habe.

Super système, une fois correctement configuré pour fonctionner avec votre set up il devient tout simplement extraordinaire. Phase est livré pour fonctionner directement sous "SERATO" mais il fonctionne effectivement avec toutes les cartes sons de VPS. Pour ma part je me sert d'une carte "N.I. TRAKTOR AUDIO 10" une fois le soft "MWM" ainsi que le soft de votre système ça devient complètement bleufan, hyper réactif complètement révolutionnaire. La petite vidéo montre simplement le résultat des paramétrage réalisé le jour de la réception du produit sur Soft "N.I Traktor pro 3", Carte son "N.I TRAKTOR AUDIO 10" et dans un premier temps que d'une seule platine"Tecnichs SL1200 MK5" afin de comprendre le système et réaliser un paramétrage optimal. Il me reste deux trois ajustements et je pourrai connecter le reste de mon matériel. Réceptionné 24 heures après avoir passé commande. Bon sur toute la ligne..... ✌🏻🐸
