Makes sowing much faster and easier!
I’m cheap, and held off on buying this for ages — but it’s so worth it! Once you choose the correct size for your seeds (which may require a little trial and error depending on both the size and texture of your seeds), it’s a breeze to pick up and drop seeds individually. I’ve used it on tiny seeds like sedum, to poppies, aquilegia, salvia, and all sorts of alpines. It’s particularly great for tiny pelleted seeds that need a gentle touch. The only problem I’ve had is that some of the needles are loose in their hubs, so they spin annoyingly if I have to root a little for a seed. I may try clipping and filing some medical needles I have on hand to make replacements, if a drop of glue doesn’t work. If I’m sowing seed in a dry environment and static electricity becomes an issue (may cause extra seeds to jump on), I find it helps to *very* gently breathe on the dish I put my seeds in.

BEST invention ever!
I'm so glad I found this. It's so helpful when planting tiny seeds one at a time.I start my seeds in flats and like to take each seedling and plant them in deeper pots when they get bigger. It's impossible to do that task when several seeds sprout and you have to separate the spindly seedlings like poppies. Ya just end up destroying them.Yes, it's $30. But, there's nothing on the market that's better or more effective.

Excellent concert
Excellent design works as intended but I found in the long run it’s a little too tedious for my comfort

Must-have tool for gardeners
I've been using one of these for years, and if you use seed trays you've got to have one. I can pick up one tiny seed at a time - no other tool can reliably do that.

AWESOME!
Finally, I can handle small seeds despite my arthritis! Now. I can space seeds (carrots, radishes, celery, etc.) to avoid having to thin the seedlings (also tough with arthritis)! So, so glad I found this cool seeder!!
