Bleed Kit for SHIMANO Hydraulic Brakes 100ml Mineral Oil Bike Funnel Stopper

Had a lot of fluid which is what I wanted. Bled friends bike too. Everything you need. I have bleed block, but prefer to slide business cards between pads and rotor and cover caliper to protect from spills and getting mineral oil on rotor or pads when bleeding. No dragging.

Includes instructions and what would be needed for a bleeding of the hydrolic brake lines as well as the proper fluid for the job. Haven't used yet as ordered ahead of time upon purchasing a new bike so couldn't say everything works perfectly but it looks like it should. If that changes the I will adjust my review.

Syringe and silicone hose are nice quality and the fluid is genuine Shimano oil but the kit is missing the bleed block which is necessary to bleed your brakes. I used the block from my Avid bleed kit and it must be bigger as I had very little throw. You can get away with an old set of pads and rotor or be very careful to not get oil on your good pads if you bleed with the pads in.

This bleed kit was exactly what I needed. There were a few tools like a 7mm box wrench you will need but aside from that the kit has it all. The mineral oil is Shimano brand which was a relief knowing I'm putting the right product into my xt brakes.

Great to bleed the brakes of Shimano hydraulic mountain bike brakes ( or any hydraulic bike brakes) I watched a few Youtube videos, bought this kit and saved myself a significant amount of dollars by not going to the bike shop. Brakes work great now and I couldn't be happier.

I googled a video on how to use this and saved myself a trip to the bicycle store. Not very difficult at all.
