They're perfect!
Honestly I don’t understand people reviews about these not working. Out of the 7 seeds I got 6 are flourishing and growing nice. Tip, try to get the soil a bit acidic as they love acid soil and you won’t have any problems. They’re low maintenance and well… I’ll let you know as soon as I get fruits out of them :)

The seeds did not germinate and there were very few. I do not recommend the product.

Grown, but no fruit after a full year
I found that after covering with plastic they germinate very well, however I have never gotten the plants to fruit. They are very scary looking spiky plants.

I got the seed four or five months ago and about 50% germinated after about a month. The seed is small and takes a long time to get a big plant but eventually they take off. I've read naranjilla struggle after 85° F but I've seen no sign of problems in the hottest of ky summer in part shade. Growing them is very similar to a tomato or eggplant. I don't know what pH they do best at but they're doing fine in what i think is closer to neutral (70 % composted vegetation 30% sand and acid mineral soil a.k.a dirt). Note, this is the variety with thorns, but so far the thorns aren't very troublesome, not compared to blackberries anyway. I haven't gotten fruit yet but I'm confident i will if i can keep them alive through the winter.

Seeds germinated
After about a month, the seeds are germinating!! I will update once they keep growing. Make sure you keep soil moist, but at the same time water the soil gently (try to not disturb soil). Have the pot in a warm, but Not that hot place.

Its been a month and a week and these seeds didn't germinate. Don't recommend at all. I believe they were old or something because not even 1 sprouted

sprouting
I put them on dirt water them and I have a few of them sprouting, I am glad to see it happening, let's see how long it takes for them to reach adulthood, I hope to grow them on big pots as I have grown other trees.
