I LOVE this Air Dry Waves stuff!! I have always had very fine, thin hair, but I used to have a lot of it. Over the past decade, medications, health issues, and genetics have left me with hair so thin, my braid is thinner than my pinkie finger (see PIC 3). I have tried dozens or maybe even hundreds of products, trying to make my hair look thicker and have any style at all. My hair is mostly straight, but t has a tiny bit of wave to it, and it frizzes up when the dew point tops about 40 or when I sweat. A few products made my hair look okay, but I rarely feel like spending time "doing" my hair using heat tools, and I try to baby my hair as much as possible, since it breaks just running my fingers through my hair. On top of most products requiring heat styling to work, I cannot stand my hair feeling crunchy or sticky. I thought I was going to have to chop it all off, and spend the rest of my thirties and all the decades that follow, with a pitifully thin and frizzy pixie cut. This JF Air Dry Waves Styling Foam is amazing!!!! After I get out of the shower, I towel-dry my hair, pump out 1.5-2 puffs of this magical creation, and scrunch it into my hair. After that, I just leave it alone (PIC 1). I don't touch it. Once it is dry, I brush it, and POOF (PIC 2)! My hair looks voluminous but just feels conditioned and soft! And those waves STAY. I have found the waves stay at least 3 days (the longest I can go without washing my hair). Especially on Day 2 or Day 3, if it seems I need a tad more definition to my waves, I run a brush or comb under the faucet (a hand works, in a pinch) and lightly run it through my hair, scrunching again, and the waves are again defined. It would probably be best for me to use a pick, so I may get one, to avoid the big puff, but this stuff is amazing! I hope they never discontinue or change it, because it is PERFECT! I even use it before I'll be wearing my hair up, as I gives my hair more volume and fullness when I pull it into a bun or twist. I don't know how well it works on thicker hair, but if you have really fine hair (as in, each actual strand of hair is extremely narrow, like a cobweb), I think you will love this stuff.

This foam is lightweight and easy to apply to hair. A little goes a long way. Apply from roots to ends of hair. Gives great curl definition and is moisturizing. Also provides volume and lift to curls. Love this foam!

This is the first time using JF foam cream. It does go a long way, I used too much the first time. It has a positive taming effect on curly hair. It smells pleasant, clean. Medium hold. It drys soft texture not crunchy.

I have never tried this particular mousse before, but I like the scent. It says new fragrance, so I don’t know what the old one was but this smells nice. It’s very light and airy, not what I’m used to. I got a perm and this is good for curly hair. I also like that it’s made for air drying, because thats how I style my hair on a daily basis. Its a very light hold, so it doesn’t hold up to sleeping on your curls and working the next day. It kind of loses some of the bounce and body, but for same day, I like it. It’s lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh down my curls. They feel lighter and more free than a heavier hold mousse. I scrunch the curls when they’re still damp and it seems to help give more body. Maybe that’s curls 101, but I’m not really sure what I’m doing as I’m new to this 😜 Recommend for curly hair and air drying, for sure!

I have fine, natural salt and pepper hair. This product controls some of my frizz, and I use a good amount of product, but doesn’t work well enough for me. Makes hair feel soft and my fine hair feels fuller, but doesn’t do much for making my curls look good either. I end up having to brush it out. The scent is nice. Not strong or over powering.

This does what it says! I can actually air dry my hair and get great curls. I put it on when my hair is just damp, scrunch and go. My hair is naturally curly but dries horribly if nothing in it or I have to blow dry my hair. I can now just go out the door on those days when I have zero time. This will be on my repeat list

This product is kind of cool! I have curly hair (nearly ringlets), fine strands but a lot of hair. I was impressed that after this product dried I didn't have the "triangle" effect I normally have (when the top of my hair gets flat and the bottom is full). I didn't think I could escape that without a diffuser so that's great! The first time I used it I followed the instructions and used three pumps, but my hair turned out a bit frizzy (I don't think it would if you had more wavy-less curly hair). So the second time I used 5 pumps. My hair dried great!! I included pictures so you can see how it looks on normal, non-model hair. My hair feels like it has nothing in it at all (even with more product than recommended on shoulder length hair). I took out a star because you need more product then advertised.

Embora o produto não deu tanto volume quanto eu esperava, eu gostei do resultado final. Só não gostei da aplicação no cabelo seco, como vi em alguns videos, achei que o cabelo fica pesado e gorduroso. Entrega dentro do prazo prometido, super satisfeita.

Use it everyday to style my hair! Amazingg! Pumping twice gives a good amount of product, is super easy to apply, when hair has dryed it makes my hair less frizzy and shiny!
