It came with 1 2.5 -> 3.5 converter

Will the Hyper 212 EVO from Cooler Master fit in the case (it is a bulkier cpu cooler)? Want to know as I am thinking about doing my first build.

What differences are there between this and the newer one?

Sir, if you give me a specific model number, I will try to research the differences. I have had zero problems with the HAF-912. It exceeded my expectation in all aspects. I am running two internal drives and a hot swap drive from the front. It is quiet and has a reasonable foot print. If you need fans for more ambitious projects, the Cool Master has many options.
