Every little piece of dirt and evergreen needle seems to find its way in, so I got these to cover the tops of my hiking boots. You can't wear these with shorts or you'll lose about a gallon of water through sweat. I'll hold onto them and wear them with when there's snow to help keep my jeans dry.
