Adjustable Under Desk Keyboard Tray by NYCCO, Water-Resistant Platform, 17-inch Track Knob Adjust - Black

UPDATE 2/18/2020:The knob to hold the tray in place is stripped out an no longer works. The tray tilts all the way to the floor causing the keyboard and mouse to slide off, and that is definitely not ergonomic.First purchased: 9/26/2019It does what I need it to, but I will need to be careful when storing and adjusting. It seems flimsy and since it doesn't slide well I'm afraid of breaking it. I don't rest my hands on the keyboard, so I can't say that it will break it, but it doesn't seem very sturdy since I've only had it installed for a short period of time and I've had to readjust.If I had to do over again I would spend the extra money to get sturdier lift adjustable tray.Additional thoughts on the tray:1) I thought the adjustable keyboard tray had high reviews. It was not, most of the reviews are about the drawer, not the keyboard tray.2) Crawling under the desk to install was not fun, but I could have taken everything off the desk and removed the top. But this isn't the fault of the manufacturer, but something potential buyers should keep in mind.3) The tray doesn't slide well at all. I'll probably have to do what some other reviewers have mentioned and put a plastic safe lubricant on the track.4) The instructions are minimal that come with it. I didn't view the video so seeing which features adjust and are locked vs unlocked are not in the printed instructions.5) The tilt, rotate and raise/lower is all "locked" by the knob, so storing can be challenging. I'll have to readjust each time it is stored.6) The screws are too long for desks made with 3/4in plywood. The desk surface is made of 3/4 in plywood so since the screws would have been a bit too long I had to use spacers so they wouldn't poke through the surface. I have also have a lip on my desk since it was originally designed as an architect desk, so there is a approximately a quarter of an inch on my desk that I had to work with and if I hadn't used spacers I wouldn't have been able to put the base into the slide.

Product was several days late. Came with no instructions. Was not assembled properly at the manufacture and therefore didn't work. During the process of trying to figure it out, I went to view the other pictures within the reviews and found reviews for another product. The only pictures I was able to find was the product page itself. DON'T BUY!

Installed this keyboard yesterday and I'm not a fan. The installation was easy enough, though I think the steps they have you do things could be improved upon. There's really not much I like about this.. it's awkward to adjust. You cannot just tilt the keyboard. In order to tilt the keyboard you must also mess with the angle of the arm itself at the same time because there is only 1 mechanism used to loosen/tighten both objects. Last, this tray is all but impossible to slide under or pull out from under the desk. I'm hoping with some wear, it will become easier. All in all, at this point I really wish I'd have bought a different product.The good? The keyboard tray is quite large which is definitely a plus

Even after loosening the tightening knobs, the tray was very difficult to adjust. It seemed as if it was binding in every direction of movement.I've already bought a replacement that works like a dream. I wish I could get my money back.

I have had to re-adjust the tray over and over. My mouse slides off constantly. The tray cannot hold the weight of hands resting on the keyboard while typing.Now the company wants me to pay to ship it back when it doesn't even work. Not pleased at all and wouldn't recommend.

Not as easy to install or use as I anticipated

It was pretty easy to install, stays in place, and does what I need it to do. I’m happy with the quality and would order it again.

The tray was not assembled correctly when it arrived. The rod that it swivels around missed one of the holes entirely. I had to disassemble it and put it back together again so that I could install it properly. Very frustrating and took up a lot of my time to find and fix the problem.
