The shoes are amazing. I got these in the 13 4E size. I love the roominess and how wide they are. They also have a wide base and platform which I like. They breathe well and are lightweight considering they're alloy toe. Best and most important of all, they feel like actual tennis shoes and not work shoes. Now the bad. The insoles are terrible! I'm a bigger guy around 290 but I've only been wearing these for two days and realized the insoles were no bueno. As you can see from the photos the very thin foam insoles are already crushed in places allowing little to no rebound. I've only worn them for 2 8 hour work shifts. I've remedied this by replacing them with Dr. Scholls Extra Support insoles which seem to fit this shoe like a glove without trimming. Now, they're like walking on air!

I wanted to buy some steel toed SHOES rather than steel toed boots that I normally wear. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I did read reviews that these shoes fall apart easily, but I got them anyway. First thoughts, very comfortable and very roomy. Maybe it's just me, but I wear a size 15, so that's what I bought, and it feels like a size too big. They don't slip off or are uncomfortably big, but just noticeably larger than what I would expect for my shoe size. These shoes are very light-weight, especially for someone who is on their feet all day like me, it is quite the difference going from boots to comfortable shoes. They feel like regular everyday sneakers, sometimes I forget that they're steel toe because of how light they are. I would highly recommend these shoes to someone who is looking for comfort AND protection.

I've worn these Mon-Friday for over two months, and they are holding up well. They are light, true to size, and fit well. The laces are good quality and don't come untied. That said, the description says "100% leather". I don't know about anyone else, but "leather" means the skin of an animal, typically a cow. This is what it has meant for a few centuries at least. Not a big deal, just irks me when many listings of things on Amazon say "leather" and it isn't. There is a little bit of thin leather on the toe and a bit on the heel but the vast majority of the upper is some kind of synthetic material. Also, the insoles are terrible; thin, flat, and hard. They say "industrial" on them and they aren't lying, they are about as "industrial" as it gets, almost like walking around on a piece of steel all day. You may as well cut an insole out of the cardboard box they come in and use that. Even the wife was horrified at the insoles, and she walks around in wedges with soles made of wood. But, pop some aftermarket gel insoles in there and they are fine. Traction is good as well. These would be 5 star shoes if they had cushioning and arch support inside. It's also a little disappointing that New Balance used to be the last 100% American made running shoe, but they chose to have their work shoes made in China.

Amazing. Comfortable. Everything you could ask for! I bought these because the work boots didn't work for me. They breathe nicely, they're comfortable, they're light, I go through 12 hour shifts and I don't have the same fatigue as I usually do at the end of the week. The steel toe, slip resistant, and oil resistant features were a huge plus. I even got a couple of dads/older gents approval when they saw the New Balance logo and they accepted me into their ranks despite not being a dad. They see the logo and trust and accept me and invite me to bbqs and ask me to help them build/move stuff. We sit back and admire our work with a cold beer and share stories. Been a month and so far a little dirt here and there, but they are still going strong!

The product arrived via fast delivery (before 8 am next day). I wonder if Amazon knows that this product is likely to be needed for work and therefore offers extra fast delivery. The shoe fits great. The sole does not have any arch support but thankfully, it can be replaced easily with another insole. I bought the black and grey which looks very non-discrete and low maintenance. It's bulkier than a running shoe but not as much as a hiking shoe. The leather upper should hold up better than nylon uppers. NB has a reputation for making shoes that are good for your feet so that's another reason for going with this shoe. I purchased another competing shoe but the fit and quality for NB was better. I expect to be walking around industrial environments in my profession so this shoe should serve me well for travel as well.

These are super light and the alloy toe is pretty amazing. Don't try this but I think you could probably drop a bowling ball on your toe with these on and you wouldn't feel anything. And the alloy toe area does cover quite a lot large area. It's an awesome design especially how late they feel they really feel like nothing. I wear a size 13 so my shoes are always somewhat bulky and these are no different, they're not quite the running shoes they look like in the picture. They definitely have an industrial feel to them. But I don't think there is another brand lighter than these or more protective than these or as stylish as these. The only negative is around the ankle area, I felt it kind of rubbed a little bit against my ankle. I do have bony ankles but other shoes don't bother me. It wasn't a deal-breaker but I just wish they weren't as bulky around the ankles. I would buy them again and highly recommend them.

Overall I'd say I'm satisfied but not especially happy with the shoes. They're reasonably comfortable but not super supportive. I will say that my feet feel quite safe in these as there is reinforced plastic on the back of the heel and the toe protection goes pretty far back. I've had the shoes for a little over a year now and have used them pretty hard but they haven't been abused like my boots have. The rip stop material on top is not abrasion resistant and several holes have worked their way through the material. The outer sole seems to be the most durable part of the shoe as there's barely any wear on them even after walking over rocks, pebbles and asphalt for the majority of year. The heel material has worn all the way through to the fiber board as there is no heel counter or reinforcement at all. They get wet very easily, so if you plan on wearing these during a rainy day, bring some fresh socks. A decent shoe that I'd only honestly recommend if you like the look of them and they're on sale. At $100, you can get some decent quality shoes or boots that will last just as long and maybe longer and offer more support. They make more sense at the $60 to $70 price I got them at.

My only complaint with this product is that does slide a bit before the bottom the shoe's outsole grips the floor. I work in a retail setting and walk 8-10 hours on a floor that varies from polished cement, ply wood, plastic, tile, laminate and steel. After about 120 hours of wearing the shoes I have noticed the only surface I have ever felt slide not slip but slide under me is polished cement. Other than this issue... it feels like a solid made pair of shoes and totally happy with purchase and will buy another when needed. It being New Balance is plus for me as I have good experiences with insoles and outsoles of their brand. The top is solid haven't had any accidental cart running toes since getting them. The insoles more than anything was an unexpected good find. I was already searching out new insoles before they arrived but when I got them delivered and tried them on for the first few hours I had no need to look for new ones until I "Flintstone" and smash through the joint line padding.

なかなかサイズなくて 助かりますが 履いたり脱いだりするので かかとの中の生地が破けて縫っても 他から裂けてきます。金額も高めなので もう少し丈夫な造りだといいなぁー

Son zapatos cómodos, no creo que sean para correr ya que no son livianos, más bien son zapatos de seguridad o para uso industrial, el casquillo que tiene protege muy bien y la suela es antiderrapante.

Not lasting. Falling apart <12 months

サイズ感は、良いのですが、ソール硬いです。一日履いていると、足に負担がかかります。中敷きの使用をお勧めします。
