The optimal julienne appliance.
one of our favorite kitchen appliances now 9 months in. Its a julienne "monster". Well we use it mostly for papaya and carrots. The trick to this tool is that the next pass relies on the ridges created in the previous pass. The very first pass will generate a slab of vegetable, which you can subsequently recut. But subsequent passes are good shards. The payoff for this small annoyance is the tool is super easy to clean, cannot clog, and has a single cutting edge.

IT'S NOT WHAT IS USED IN THAILAND!
The peeler I bought for green mango salad broke and I bought this replacement. It will shred but the lengths are too short and the pieces must be manually separated. I will try Oxo, Boxgear or return to Thailand to pick some up!
