can you use the recovery to pull a vacuum

recovery machines can only pull a vacuum to a certain point,which is not enough,a vacuum pump can pull a vacuum down to 500 microns which is the standard of vacuum of which you need to do it at,air has moisture in it and if it is any air in the system,it can damage the motor windings over time.
