Perfect Fitness Multi-Gym Doorway Pull Up Bar and Portable Gym System

After a long research and comparison between models/companies, although it’s more expensive than a everage of the equipments with the same design, I decided to give this Perfect Fitbess Multi-Gym a try. I’m happy I did. Better quality of construction and materials than an Iron Gym that I had. 1/8 of an inch thick metal bars are strong enough for this type of workouts. The straight bars (2pieces) fit into each other perfectly (with indentation and a twist lock that’s secured after the L shape bars are attached). Grips are made from high density foam that should last a long time with normal usage. L shape bars bolted to the straight bar with plastic washers in between (see pictures) preventing any unnecessary movement while in use. The back plastic bar (with soft foam/rubber to help protecting your wall) sits nicely on top of the molding. Those predrilled holes are also perfect fit to the bolts provided as the sizes are different on each sides. I don’t understand the complaints from other reviewers as they appear to be mistakes during the assemble process. All in all, it’s worth the money.

I have a normal sized door and it works great. Easy to install and take down so I can close the door. Handles and all that are easy to use and it feels very sturdy. Happy for my choice of letting me workout but not lose my rental deposit. I will admit that I’m not that heavy so that might be a factor. However all the parts that get stress are metal so I feel safe.

Cheap doorway pull-up bar that gets the job done. Surprisingly nice weighty feel to it overall indicating good quality material...but design is another thing which I'll get to. Fits in my 29" width doorway. It won't fit in anything more than 35" in width from opening to opening (not counting the molding). Some people have said the instructions are not very clear but to me a caveman can do it. As others have mentioned it does have some play even when all allen bolts are tight. I mean, I think all allen bolts are tight? Because the holes in the bolts where the hex key fits is extremely shallow and the key keeps slipping out when I tighten! Extremely irritating! How do you let slip (pun intended) one of the most important aspects to holding this thing together?? Anyway, other than that annoying caveat the bar should last a lifetime (with occasional re-tightening). The foam pads feel pretty durable and I like the fact that it includes a wide range of grips including hammer grips. Really can't go wrong for $25. But if you don't have common sense and can't put this thing together unless it comes with precise instructions like that of a LEGO castle, then don't buy it because you probably won't be able to figure out how to hang it on your door anyway.

I had owned the Iron Gym pull up bar for a few years, but the foam was coming apart and I wanted something a little more compact. I didn't quite need all the little extras the Iron Gym had on it. I am so glad I chose this product, A.) it fit the budget just fine B.) it looks super slick and is perfect for my daily pull ups and sit ups. It came out of the box and was easily put together and looks just a great as in the photo. If you want something where you can get a few pull ups in your day and not break the bank, there's no to look anywhere else. I haven't had any issues with this, it fits perfectly in my door frame and easily is removed if needed.

This pull up bar was easy to assemble with a clear instruction manual and a complete toolkit. I opted out of installing the specific metal hook because I'm currently renting and didn't want to damage the door frame. The pull up bar was still stable for me (5'5", 130 lbs) even without the hook, and I am only 1-2 inches off the ground when i bend my knees to deadhang. I like being able to put it on and off the doorframe as needed. The foam grips around the bars are nice, they help me keep my grip on the bar more stable so that I can start off with longer holds than if it was a bare bar.

I've used a bunch of Perfect Fitness products: push up, ab carver and they're great. But I'm not sure if their pull up bar is living up to their brand. So I tried it out and man I can tell you, it's much much better than other pull up bars I've tried before (even though those have even higher reviews on Amazon). The key difference is the rubber pads on both sides, it helped protect your door. Other brands they have to includes a pair of pads or foams so you can attach them to your door but with this pull up bar, you don't really it it. Just buy it!

Great addition to my bedroom for quick workouts

Title says it all folks. I purchased this pull up bar bc I would constantly be putting OT on work and I didn’t really have time for the gym. Let me tell you, this is by far one of the best quality pull up bars I’ve purchased (considering the price). I use it 3 times a week (Monday wed fri) and it causes no damage to my doorframe (unlike previous pull up bars I’ve owned). It’s a great tool if you’re looking forward to STAYING in shape. Really helps out on those days that I’m too busy to go to the gym

Material resistente y fácil armado

アメリカ産なんかな？組み立てとかは簡単ですし、説明書が英語でも図解があるので特に問題ないです。が・・・左右のバーの曲がってる角度が違う為、懸垂時に引っかける場所に厚みがないと外れます。。。まぁお国柄ドア枠が分厚くそんな心配がないのかな～？うちじゃ限られてるよなぁ・・・と困りました。腹筋とかの器具として使うには場所も取らず便利です。

This is an honest review. I was not offered anything for free to do this review. The pull up bar was fairly easy to assemble taking me about 10 min. It fits perfectly in my door space. It is very sturdy and it feels safe and secure when doing pull ups properly. I also use an assistance band occasionally. I weigh 120 pounds but my husband weighs 185lbs and he uses it every day. He is 6'3 tall so he hangs with bent knees. My 13 year old also uses it for pull ups. It works very well for the whole family. We are happy with the purchase.

Great construction, doesn't damage the door frame or wall, put up and take down easily, love the mobility as I can take it on a road trip.
