Will it jumpstart an AGM Optima battery or any Deep Cycle Battery?

This has an AGM battery that is 12V inside it, so yes it can be connected to another such battery (and it doesn't matter whether you're using it for "jumpstarting" a car or for adding time to how long a deep cycle battery will last, it does all of the above). Just beware that the battery inside this may not be as powerful as it's made to sound. It's actually rated "22 amp-hour" hinting it can supply 1 amp for 22 hours (at 12V), or 2 amps for 11 hours, or 3 amps for 7 hours, etc. Many deep cycle batteries (that are about the same size as a car battery) can supply 6 amps for 8 hours, so this is about 1/2 the power (and 1/2 the weight).

Other than jumping a car with a dead battery, what makes this one so much better?, does this one do more than the others on Amazon at a lower Amps vs. 1700?, what does the 1700 amps give you extra? and how does the auto charge work?,

Not only is the Jump N Carry brand a performer but it's long lasting. I'm looking at purchasing this particular JNC charger. I used to work for a car audio shop and found the original Jump N Carry jumper box on the Snap On tool truck back in '99 or 2000. This is June 2018 and the 17Ah battery is just going out! I was not nice to it over the years either! I opened the original JNC charger and found a high amp deep cycle battery inside. Deep cycle batteries are designed for deep discharges that would destroy a normal SLA battery under the same conditions, usually in just 4 - 6 deep discharges for the latter, sometimes less! This unit has automatic charging, meaning there's no need to monitor the charging time and unplug the charging cord when it's done. The original unit warned that it had to be unplugged in 10 -12 hours - let me just reiterate, I was not nice to my original JNC. There's a reason this brand can be found on the mechanics tool trucks.

Am I able to charge this unit with a portable solar power panel & run my laptop on it for at least two hours?

I charge mine using an Instapark Mercury27 portable foldable solar panel in conjunction with an Instapark PWM Solar Charger controller, plugged into the 12V accessory port. Works well and should be able to easily power a laptop for 2+ hours using an A/C inverter plugged into the 12V accessory port.

Can the battery be replaced?

Yes but test the internal charger first. THe charge pack started to get weaker and weaker so I bought the OEM battery from Amazon and installed the battery only to find that the charger controller was not charging the battery so weigh your options out before you make the purchase to replace the battery
