Why is the father Lance missile the best I’ve known? First it is a comprehensive volume of all the readings and a clear exposition of the right that is easy to follow from week to week. The propers from all other feast days of the year are easy to find. Beautiful binding and print.

This Missal has all the prayers in LATIN AND ENGLISH, SIDE BY SIDE, for the Liturgical Year. It is very well organized for easy access. You can use the ribbon dividers to mark The ORDINARY OF THE MASS, The PROPER OF THE SEASON, The PROPER OF THE SAINTS and The COMMON OF THE SAINTS. The Ordinary Prayers have a larger font size and are on thicker paper. There is a section following the introduction entitled "READ MASS WITH THE PRIEST" which is A STUDY GUIDE that illustrates all the stages of the Liturgy in great detail. The Guide also shows you how the Missal is organized and how to use the Missal effectively. The Guide also shows the Sacred Vestments used by the priest along with how the Altar Area and Table are organized with all the Sacred Elements and their Significance. There is even a table that shows you when to SIT, STAND, and KNEEL. I like the high quality and the ribbon marker.A very special book for me. It brings back my childhood memories with my Mom (in heaven now) and our family in worship.

Nice cover, very sturdy, thin pages but not terrible gold edges. All the prayer you could ever want. I love it

This Missal was meeting a childhood friend long lost and forgotten over time. I hope it remains in print now as it is the best one for following the Traditional Latin Mass. It is from 1945 so does slightly differ from that of 1962 but I like to read the extra prayers I grew up with at Mass during the 1950s.

This Missal is just what I was looking for. It brings back memories of my participation in the Latin Mass which I really enjoyed and now miss with all of the changes taking place in the Catholic church.

Love this missal. Please don't be discouraged by the one star review. Anytime you translate a language you must change and alter it to communicate complex words. Thats why the catholic church wanted to keep everything in latin. The literal ranslation of the nicene creed is one being with the father but this poorly explains the meaning behind it. Consubstantiual is a Greek word that better describes what the church believes. In no way is it altering but clarifying that Jesus isn't just one being with God but is one entity and not three separate entities. So this is a better word to use.

The depth of this Missal is what makes it worth the buy - lots of extra prayers. I use it daily for the morning and evening prayers contained. The ordinaries are easy to follow after short preparation before mass. The feast days are great feature and you get to learn about a lot of saints day to day. The pictures and descriptions are a great help as well.Quality is nice/not actual leather cover but it’s okay. The feel of the pages in the fingers is nice and the thickness and weight of the book itself is great considering everything it contains. It’s perfect to have on the desk for reference even if you don’t go to a TLM all the time.Worth the investment. God bless.- YBIC
