Dritz 172 Glass Head Pins, Ultra Fine, 1-3/8-Inch (150-Count) , Blue

I love these pins for quilting they are thin and my machine goes right over them. The only thing is they are so thin that they bend easily.

I'm a novice sewer and needed these pins for an ambitious (at least for me) project involving tricky fabric. I can't believe the difference. I am getting rid of all my cheap pins now and ordering more of these. They go through the fabric like butter and leave no trace behind - even on this dupioni fabric that I keep pinning and repinning. YouTubers recommended pulling out pins before going under the machine's needle, but I prefer to just go slowly and these never get caught under the machine needle like the old bulky pins I've been using.

I do precision patchwork. I make a lot of quilts. I pin like crazy. These are the thinnest, sharpest, all-around best pins for patchwork where you are matching and pinning intersections where seams meet. I always sew over pins at intersections and find that pin strikes are less likely with these thin pins and I have many fewer blunted or broken machine needles. These are no good for heavy fabric. They are perfect for quilt weight fabric. Downside is they bend easily, they are sucked up by the vacuum easily, and I have to buy new ones more often - they are worth it.

Didn't realize these existed- but now am using them for almost everything! Very delicate- bends gently around a bulky side seam yet holds onto the lightest material. Glass heads won't have paint flakes peeling off all over the place.

Exactly the item I was looking for. Have some me already but after awhile they do get bent. The best pins for going through any fabric.

Pins are quite thin and are easily bent but they are very sharp. The length is good also.

I bought these to use on the silk for my wedding dress, which I am making. They are nice and thin, so they don't snag or leave holes in the fabric. If one gets dull and tries to catch, I throw it away. They're long, so they stay in place OK, but the fabric is so slippery that they do slide out sometimes. The blue heads are fine on a white dress, but I feel that multi-color might be better because they'd be hard to see on blue fabric. Glad I got them, they've made my project much easier.

La boite est très pratique à ouvrir et à fermer. Les aiguilles sont jolies par contre pour être ultra fines elles sont ultra fines mais également ultra fragile : les aiguilles se tordent trop facilement et ne me conviennent donc pas.

Nice fine sharp pins

These are the smallest pins with beautiful glass tops. Nice for pinning barbie clothes and I would think very fine fabric like silk. I wanted to have smaller pins for special fabrics and they're great! Just have to be gentle as they are more fragile that regular pins.
