It's not as aggressive as the touch of silver shampoo. I tried that a few times but it made a lot of my platinum hair a patchy lilac/grey. This is much better, lifted my yellow tones without over toning. I did use half the bottle as I have waist length hair.

I’ve had bleach-blonde highlights for over a year and without a toner they’ve turned yellow. I’ve been trying out expensive products to get rid of the yellow/brassy tone and nothing has worked or has fully dried my hair out. This product comes highly pigmented and left my hair so soft after every wash. Even after leaving it in my hair for a short period of time, it still worked fabulously on my highlights. They are cool toned and refreshed! Absolutely recommend it.

I had yellow and orange tones in hair after bleaching out a semi permanent dye, and used this on dry hair and left on for around 20 mins. It really toned the yellow and orange down well, although did leave some purple on the lighter parts of hair - but that wasn't much of a problem for me. I've attached a before and after photo to show how well it worked. It also came intact and had no problems with spillage as others did.

This is a brilliant toning mask! much more effective than leading brands and a fraction of the price! I would suggest applying with a tinting brush on the most yellow parts first, then to massage into the hair. After you have washed this out, apply a little conditioner to just rid of any remaining purple tones and even the colour out a bit, and wash with cool water. Hair looks and feels great after one wash. Has taken out quite a lot of the brassiness, and left a nice white/blonde colour. I left on for approx 10 mins. I think the more lilac-y/Light blue tones work better than those dark ones (like fanola) I find the darker the toner, the more drying it is. The lighter the toner is, liek this mask, is much more effective. Can't go wrong for £4.99!

Item fine,quick delivery but as per usual was dumped on doorstep(I was actually in but driver didn't bother to knock!) It was in full view of anyone walking by,there is several places where it could've been put out of view!

Quality: I think this is going to be good, tried it in the front of my hair (going from dark to blonde) newly highlighted! I only left it on for 90 seconds, I can definitely see a difference in the orange tones. Will leave it on for perhaps 3mins next time. See how it goes. Smells lovely & didn’t dry my hair out.

I used a 10A high lift dye on my hair which was about 2/3 my natural dark blonde/light brown hair and a 1/3 blonde on the ends from previous dyeing. I left the john frieda purple shampoo on my dry hair for an hour but it didn't do nothing as it was pigmented enough. My hair was a very pale yellow but sooooooo yellow under artifical light (I was pretty embarrassed going to work), I tried to use a light ash blonde on my hair to tone it down but, it was too light and seemed to make it more orangey. I then used the pro-voke purple shampoo on dry hair for an hour. It made the top less yellow but still not ashy enough. So I decided to buy this pro-voke toning conditioning mask. I put it on my roots and then in sections through my dry hair. I used about 2/3 of the tube and I left it for an hour. It was very pigmented, it dyed my hands slightly blue/purple, so I would recommend using gloves. After washing it out and drying it the lengths of my hair are more ash in colour. The root section is not 100% perfect but it is a less harsh shade than it was and I will be happier going to work tomorrow than I was today!!

Seems to work really well. Better than the purple shampoo and it's also like a moisturizing mask instead of just conditioning and it's fairly cheap
