Good for homemade barley tea!
I love barley tea; up until recently I was buying a bottled version on a regular basis from the grocery store. I’m extremely glad I did an internet search for DIY barley tea since that has saved me so much money. I reuse the tea bag several times in a large teacup and I drink it plain. I love the taste and I am excited to now be able to brew this tea on a whim instead of planning a shopping trip around picking up a few bottles from the store.

Rich, toasty taste without the caffeine crash.
Bought the 30-count original version and I use it daily for a caffeine-free alternative to coffee in a work-from-home setup. What I like• Naturally nutty and toasty flavor—no bitterness at all• Zero caffeine or sugar, great for evening hydration• Unbleached teabags and clean ingredient list feel high qualityWhat could be better• Takes a bit longer to steep for strong flavor• Outer packaging could be resealable for freshnessBottom line: A soothing and healthy caffeine-free drink with rich roasted flavor. Perfect for tea lovers avoiding caffeine, but look at roasted corn tea if you prefer a sweeter finish.

What Does Barley Tea Tastes Like?
Korean barley tea (Boricha) has a rich toasty flavor. I love the smell out the pack. It tastes better than coffee and has none of the same side effects as it contains no caffeine. Moreover, it's rich in antioxidants which help your skin fight free radical damage. I typically brew it plain, sometimes I'll add cinnamon &/or honey for added benefits.

I was looking for Barley "water" that tasted like it was from a Korean restaurant
If you have ever had "barley water" at a Korean restaurant, this should make you happy. I boil a small pot of water and place one bag of the tea in it and let it sit until i remember about it. I then put the "tea" in the fridge since i like to enjoy it cold. I dilute it a LOT with plain water so i end up with "barley water" which is (to me) a very refreshing nutty/toasty flavor. 1 tea bag lasts me a few days since i dilute it so much. (Just to be clear, the box comes with multiple plastic bags full of individual "tea bags" that are connected but easy to tear apart. I use 1 individual tea bag at a time)

Used for weight loss and organ health
I recently changed my diet from eating a lot of unhealthy, carb-laden foods (fries, tots, beer, sweets, etc.) to a lower-carb, healthier diet. While adjusting, I experienced cravings for carbs, especially sweets. This tea would really curb my cravings. It also seemed to help me relax, although that could just be the comfort of drinking non-caffeinated tea. I also did some reading on organ health and this tea was recommended. I did notice a lot of positive results of eating differently and drinking this tea, including higher energy levels, no energy crashes after meals, no headaches or fatigue with the diet change. When I ran out of the tea, some of the cravings for carbs came back and it was harder to stick to the healthier diet. The taste is probably not for everyone. It tastes like what it is - it has a grainy plain oatmeal-ish flavor. I used a whole large bag for a cup of tea, so mine was strong. I adjusted quickly to the flavor. I recommend it for anyone interested in improving organ health and/or trying to cut out sweets.

Good tea, poor packaging, no preparation instructions in English!
There are no instructions whatsoever how to prepare the tea. The only words in English are that the tea is organic barley tea and the nutrition facts plus who distributes the tea.The tea tastes great. I leave it in a pot (after the water boiled) for more than 10 minutes in order to get stronger tastes. The box arrived squashed, partially torn and opened. Packaging is poor!

Tastes Great
Please note - these bags are larger than normal size tea bags, which I prefer actually as I like to make this tea in bulk and drink as a substitute for water, so it seems less wasteful. My preference is 2 bags per 1 gallon of water and then I will often reuse the bags one more time for smaller cups of tea.Of course you have to like the taste to enjoy the tea - for me it has a nutty flavor, that almost gives a faint hint of coffee-ish-ness. Tastes great hot or cold!Happy with the product and will buy again.
