Great bladeless fan for the price
I was concerned when I bought this because of the mixed reviews but its been working great so far. I've had it almost a month now and have been using it daily. Value of my feedback largely will depend on what you want out of the fan, I saw a number of reviews of people using this to keep them cool while they're asleep so as a heads up this review probably isn't for you. I use it to cool my 12'x18' gaming room, I located the fan at the far end of the room from where my PC sits so that it can help move and circulate air coming from the one small AC vent in this room.Airflow: My desk sits probably 12' or so away from the fan and on speed settings 3-4 I can definitely feel a breeze, on setting 2 I can still kinda feel it but it's not as obvious. Ultimately though my goal setting out wasn't necessarily to have a fan so I could feel it blowing on me, it was to promote circulation of the conditioned air from my AC vent, and in that regard this fan has done great for me. Even at lower settings it has really helped keep the room from having uneven hot/cold spots.Noise: One of the biggest complaints has been people saying how loud it is, now maybe I've been to a few too many rock concerts but I don't have an issue with it. Yes this fan makes noise and a fair amount but for my purposes of keeping a gaming room cool it doesn't bother me. At it's max setting you could still talk over it without raising your voice even if you were sitting right next to it. I find that with any other noise or music in the room the fan kinda disappears as white noise. When I'm wearing earbuds or a gaming headset (no active noise canceling) I can't even hear it on it's max speed, and my friends on voice chat haven't been able to hear it through the mic either. Granted again, my desktop setup is about twelve feet away from the fan so your experience may vary if you're sitting much closer than I am.Aesthetic: The modern and sleek look really goes great with the remodel I just did to the room, my only complaint is from the pictures the side panels looked like they were a light grey, to my disappointment they are actually bright white. Eh, oh well it's not that bad and still looks great in the room.Ease of Use: If you're the type of person that can relate to the statement "instructions unclear, Richard stuck in fan" good news, it's a very straight forward setup, the other good news is congratulations you purchased the bladeless fan. Only issues with the remote is sometimes it seems to be a hair finicky with where I point it, so just make sure you've actually got the remote pointed at the display screen.Overall 4 out of 5 stars not really because of any complaint with the noise or remote control but more because those white side panels were kinda a bummer.

Beauty of the Lasko AC 615 only shell deep.
I ordered the Lasko AC 615 Bladeless Tower Fan to replace my 10 year old Crofon Tower Fan that is on its last leg. There are only two things that I like about this bladeless fan is it's unique sleek design and it's near 60 dollar price tag (which is extremely cheap for a bladeless fan of anysize). Sadly that is where the positive feedback ends, because this fans fails to achieve what the manufacturer promised. Lasko claims that their bladeless fan produces 30 percent more airflow than conventional oscillating tower fans. When I tested the airflow it's about on par with my decade old oscillating tower fan when it was new. Lasko also claims that this fan would be quiter than a conventional tower fan, the motor on this fan is as loud my 35 year old 16 inch KOR Oscillating Table fan on full blast that was handed down me and has been family since it was new. If you know anything about those old steel caged oscillating table fans they sound like a airplane propeller regardless of fan speed. Speaking of airplanes when you look at the X-ray diagram of the Lasko AC 615 in product image gallery on the Amazon store page, you will notice that there is a actual turbine serving as a vacuum to supply air for the fan. This fan has same conceptual vacuum design as a jet engine, which might explain why the fan makes so much noise and how Lasko was able to keep production costs down.Looking at this from value stand point, there are better fans on Amazon that provide better airflow and less noise for within the same 50 to 60 dollar budget that the Lasko AC 615 currently resides in. Honeywell's Quiet Set tower fans are pretty solid fans I have owned couple of them over the years, those offer best value to performance in my opinion. If the noise does not bother you, you want one of the most affordable and esthetically pleasing bladeless fans out there, then buying this Lasko AC 615 would be justifiable.

Great, just 4 months... now dead... now alive.
Update: After not using the speed four for a while, now is working again. It doesn't starts quickly at that speed, but after one or two minutes is able to speed up... and works for hours fine. I will keep using it until it goes dead completely :)Update: 5th month... dead, fan speed even set to 4 is like the speed 1. The fan motor is a big almost sealed box, you can't clean that part, only the filter. I will not get another like this, will get a regular one.Update: No where says how frequently you must clean the filter, after using it for about 4 months the filter got completely cover of dusk and the fan power flow decreased to 50% even on the highest speed. Also the rotation got jumpy or like paused for less than a second, not fluid the movement anymore... but a good cleaning of the filter resolved the issue. Good air flow again 👌I got the fan, Amazon Warehouse, came with everything... In original box, protective foam, original control with the original protective plastic and plastic bag. The filter super clean, everything looks like new, for now working perfectly. Now about the sound... I think this item was returned maybe because of the sound, but for me is a normal sound. I am a person that can sleep with speakers Bluetooth in maximum volume close to my bead. So... the sound is not an issue. I got it for half the price, and for me was like getting it new, the condition, appearance, and all clean... Thanks Amazon. I purchased as a used product because I trust Amazon customer service, always available to make the customer experience A+ class #ILoveAmazon :)

New bladeless fan.
The fan is nice and seems to be a good quality product. I like the removable filter in the back so it can be easily cleaned. I only wish the fan blew a little hard and ocellated a little farther.

Buen ventilador
