Corsair Memory CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.65V

Recently I built a PC, from the ground up. I'd been meaning to do so for quite a while and could never get a decent budget going. When I finally had the funds I did my research and found that this "Corsair Memory 8 Dual Channel Kit DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM CMX8GX3M2A1600C9" was top quality stuff. Corsair usually makes pretty good hardware and this was no exception. It was a snap (literally; snapped it into my board) to install and worked on the first boot up. I decided to install Windows 7 64x on my new PC and it ran without a hitch. My board had two extra RAM slots left over, however, so I decided to go all out and bought a second set (the chips all come in sets of 2). Quick install booted up and now "we're really cooking with grease." Computer runs like a quick dream. Good purchase.

Just installed this ram into my newly purchased HP with AMD, boosting my ram from 8gb to 16gb. Not everyone might need that much ram but if you play flash games on facebook as I do more ram is definately in order. Zynga games would cause lag before now everything runs smoothly and installing the ram was simple. great product. It was also packaged in a box and not the clear plastic some cheap ram is packaged in. I will definately buy corsair again.

Great stuff at a reasonable price. What more could you want? I was already running some XMS3 in a 2x2GB configuration and I bought this hoping it would be compatible. I was happy to see the older stuff and this played nice with one another. Cons: This is not the absolute fastest memory on the market (obviously), so you may want to consider something else if you are putting this into a super high end rig. For most users this stuff is perfect.

I wanted to get more memory for my system because this was a very easy upgrade. The price is right but the quality is poor. This ram does not run at 1600, the most I can get it is 1500 stable. I tried each stick singly, in different slots, with and without my existing ram and still had errors in memtest and crashes in W7. The voltage is correct at 1.65 on the motherboard and the 2x2gb( Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) ) I already have works fine at 1600mhz. I Wanted to get the same brand and hopefully same result from the same product line but I regret it now. There were many other choices I could have taken. I like outside the US so returning is a hassle, I will run it at 1500 and hope it stays stable. I have 12gb total now. Update 22.5.13: I have changed the voltage to 1.5v and I can run stable at 1600 mhz.

I bought 4 sticks to upgrade 2 simliar computers that are using these exact same ram. Computer 1, no issues, computer 2 kept blue screening, tried everything even reinstalled windows. Took the added ram out of computer 2 and no more blue screening issues Update: it wasn't the ram, upgraded the bios and the blue screen went away. Changing the stars from 2 to 5

Upgraded my gaming rig from 4GB to 8GB with this DDR3 ram. I couldn't be happier, simply dropped them in with no problems at all. Games and my PC as a whole are running noticeably better. I would recommend these to anybody.

Plug and Play. The website made it easy to determine if it would work with my mother board. Dropped these in and now I have a nice processing speed increase that can bee seen with web page loading speeds on my P.C. :)

I specifically selected this pair of memory modules to match the ones I already have. The specs were good: DDR3, 1600mhz, CAS9. Plugged them into my Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT motherboard. Set the BIOS memory to 1.65v and clocked them to1600mhz, everything else related to memory set to Auto. The box is well ventilated (7 fans total). CPU running at spec; no overclocking. Boot-up and system operation was fine - for about a month. Then I started getting system freezes, unexpected restarts, and then it started freezing at the BOIS! After some troubleshooting, a BIOS reset, and swapping out of memory modules, I discover its my newly purchased memory. So why did these fail? You tell me. I've been building for more than a dozen years, and one thing I've learned is to buy name brand parts, and from reputable sources. So this really sucks.

Io ho acquistato queste ram per potenziare il mio pc un po' datato. Montate su una scheda madre Asus P8B75-V con processore intel i-5 e con già due banchi di memoria da 2Gb per un totale di 4Gb. Sfruttando i 4 slot della scheda (è una dual channel) ho aggiunto la ram acquistata a quella già presente (simile a questa acquistata, ma di capacità inferiore), raggiungendo un totale di 12Gb di memoria Ram. Una volta inserite sono state riconosciute automaticamente e senza problemi. Controllando sia dal bios e sia con un altro software di monitoraggio, la memoria disponibile è assolutamente quella dichiarata dal costruttore, anzi mi sono trovato qualcosina in più. Nell'utilizzo normale si vedono subito i vantaggi di avere più Ram a disposizione, il pc è più veloce e fluido. Con poca spesa e una operazione che richiede pochi minuti, si rivitalizza il pc un po' anzianotto con un ottimo prodotto.

Hallo, für die Aufrüstung des PCs meiner Schwester habe ich hier diesen Artikel bestellt und möchte meine Erfahrungen damit bekanntgeben. Ich habe Donnerstag Abend um 23:15 den Artikel bestellt. Freitag gegen 15:20 kam bereits die Versandbestätigung und schon Samstag vormittag lag der Arbeitsspeicher in meinem Briefkasten. Nur 36 Stunden zwischen Bestellung und Lieferung - Traumhaft! Der Einbau war sehr einfach, die RAM-Riegel nehmen auch nicht viel Platz weg. Außerdem sehen die Komponenten sehr hochwertig aus in Schwarz mit den Silberstreifen (auch wenn man das im Gehäuse nicht sieht). Der PC ließ sich nach dem Einbau problemlos hochfahren. Allerdings musste ich - wie viele andere Rezensenten auch - im Boot-Menü den Speichertakt manuell anpassen (ASRock N68C-S UCC) was aber wirklich keine Schwierigkeit ist. In meinem eigenen Rechner verwende ich seit mittlerweile 17 Monaten den gleichen Arbeitsspeicher. Bisher traten noch keine Probleme auf (im System mit Intel i7 2600K, GTX570, Windows7). Man hat also wirklich lange Freude an diesem Top Produkt zu einem angemessenen Preis. Von mir gibt es daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne! MfG Robert

He leído en alguna otra reseña que no eran las de la foto, en mi caso, tal como adjunto prueba, fueron las mismas de la foto, a 1.65v. Buen producto y buen precio.

The RAM is working as expected. Corsair is one of the best brand out there for memory and I love these. Looks and feels very good. Would recommend it to anyone.
