The best of the 3 books is "Essential words for the IELTS". It's because it not only offers great words usage, but also many reading and listening example practice questions. Through those practice questions, I was able to expand my vocabulary, and reading skills. I didn't even have to memorize words that much since it automatically made me apply/learn new words through reading, listening practice questions. Good examples and exercises for all sections. I will be very well prepared for the test with this book and will not need any additional material. I really liked the material. It arrived earlier than expected. The books were printed on partially recycled paper, thats another thing that I liked. I think I have to much work to do with it. I recommend it.

The best part of the 3 book set is in "Essential words for the IELTS". It's because it not only offers great words usage, but also many reading and listening example practice questions. I didn't even have to memorize words that much since it automatically made me apply/learn new words through reading, listening practice questions. The reason why i gave 4 stars is because the "Listening" practice test examples were somewhat different from the actual test. My score is from 7-8. I wanted 8 in all bands, but the listening practice, I regret that I did it with this book. In the actual test, almost all speakers had British/ Australian accents- none with American English accents. If you have trouble listening to British English, please practice it with other books.

Highly recommended, i got 7, the small book the essential words helped me in IELTS and in enhancing my English. I studied for 2 months, 1 chapter from the small book every 2 days (essentials words), and every 2 weeks i finished 1 section from the big book, then I did all the practice exams in the 3rd book. If you study those books you don't need anything else, just make sure you solve all the practice exam, the last 3 scores will be probably very close number to your actual score. I just took my test, and the way this book guide me and prepare me for my test ...i got to say it was just fantastic, there was not a single surprise in this test for me. It offers really good tips on do's and dont;s. I will recommend 100%.

the books good and its appealing to read more and more.. the content quality is also excellent..hope i will get some good result..finger crossed.. But i am really not happy with the delivery of the books by Fedex. The service really sucks. They should act on them. The books were shopped from Delhi to hyd in one day but they took 4 days to deliver in the same city. I think if any local carrier would have been there, they would have delivered much faster. Why they are paying high to fedex, idon't know.

Ich habe mich mit diesem Bücher-Paket zusammen mit meinem Mann auf den IELTS-Test vorbereitet und es war eines der besten Investitionen, wenn man bedenkt wieviel der Test kostet. Ich muss einmal dazu motivieren sich unbedingt explizit auf diesen Test (z.B.mit diesen 3 Büchern) vorzubereiten, denn Englisch können allein könnte eventuell nicht ausreichen. Das Paket besteht aus 3 Büchern: Ein Buch mit Einführung, Tipps zum Test, allgemeinen Infos und Grundlagen (Gramatik, Aufbau eines Essays, viele Wortlisten mit "useful words"). Hinten im Buch sind dann mehrere komplette Tests drin (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) mit Antworten zum Checken. Das zweite Buch besteht nur aus Beispiel-Tests. Insgesamt hat man z.b. für Academic Module Vorbeireitung insgesamt 10 Tests. Das dritte kleinere Buch ist ein Vokabelbuch mit 10 Units à 3 Themen. Es Werden sehr viele Themen behandelt mit "neuen" Vokabeln. Die Vokabeln werden umschrieben mit englischer Definition und mit einem Text kann aus dem Kontext heraus die Bedeutung der Wörter rauslesen. Zudem sind kleine Reading, Listening, Writing und Speaking Übungen zu den jeweiligen Themen gegeben. DIE BÜCHER SIND WIE EIGNTLICH ZU ERWARTEN KOMPLETT AUF ENGLISCH! Für die Listening Übungen sind 3 Audio CDs vorhanden. Insgesamt hat man für zum Beispiel Academic Vorbereitung ca. 50 Stunden wertvolles Lernmaterial! TIPPS aus eigener Erfarhung als nicht ganz so Sprachbegabte: Ich würde jedem empfehlen eine eigene Vokabelliste zu führen, weil man immer wieder auf neue Wörter stößt oder sich immer wieder mal gute Synonyme oder Bindewörter aufschreiben kann (hilfreich beim Writing). Und so früh wie nur möglich anfangen Englisch im Alltag integrieren: Filme/Serien auf Englisch schauen, Bücher, news und Blogs auf Englisch lesen oder Hörbücher und Radio auf Englisch anhören, usw. Im Test ist nicht nur "Englisch aus der Schule" gefragt, sondern sehr spezifisch native Englisch! Jetzt aber das große ABER: Die Tests sind schwieriger als in den Büchern, sprich die Fragen sind etwas fieser wenn man so will und etwas "hinterlistiger". Aber nicht einschüchtern lassen, mit diesem Paket hat man einen guten Sprung in Richtung zum eigentlichen Test gemacht. Nur zu empfehlen, weil man das System und den Ablauf anschließend gut kennt und in der Prüfung ganz genau weiß, was man zu tun hat, und keine bösen Überraschungen erlebt!

El pack incluye 3 libros: el libro de guía con exámenes, otro libro sólo con exámenes y otro de vocabulario, todos con CD Los 3 muy útiles y muy fácil de seguir para los que no preparamos el examen con profesor. El pack viene en una caja rígida muy práctica para guardar el material. Los libros están impresos en papel reciclado, con lo cual pesan menos que los tradicionales de papel satinado. El precio, más que recomendable, porque en librerías solo el libro guía cuesta 22 euros aprox.
