I did tons of reserch about humidity and dehumidifeir before I order it ,I think I get everyone's opinion, plus their bothers.I want to remove the moisture out of the air here in NY where moisture in the air is a problem,especially in the summer months,Our apartment is really wet, this moisture causes mold, which is unhealthy as well as destructive to the furnitures.Day one of using this dehumidifier,I keep it running in the bathroom to aid in drying towels and it does a very good job. Before, bath towels and washcloths would not dry in 24 hours. With the unit running, it do. In the first 12 hours it removed 1/2 cups of water from the air. Depending on the humidity, the water container fills up in about 2 to 4 days' time. I like that it has an automatic shutoff switch so I don't have to worry about leaking.Breathing is better than before. It doesn't feel as warm and stuffy, and the mold/mildew hasn't the conditions it needs to survive.OK, so I've had this little machine for about 2 weeks now. Still working like a working bee. I only turn it off to empty the tank each day, and that is just two or three minutes. I still collect about 1 1/2 cups daily on average, so its still doing its job spectacularly. I plan on keeping this machine running continually over the fall/winter, I feel I've already gotten my monies worth from it over the summer months!!

The media could not be loaded. Been looking for a small dehumidifier for my bathroom for a long time and my friend recommended this mini electric dehumidifier. Received it for a week and been trying it feeling not bad. I really like the design and fit into very small area and working great so far. I am happy bought this little thing and fit my purpose.

Recognize that this is small unit for a small space to make a slight impact and adjust your expectations. I have it in my 100/square feet bedroom in my 40 year old home with my 25 year old HVAC unit, and it is quietly delivering champion results. I have a humidity gauge that was consistently measuring over 60%, now with this little guy it is now consistently under 55% and usually around 50%. The difference seems small - it is small - but it is enough to feel a difference in the air quality and to get better sleep. Very easy to use, literally snap the container in and push one button. Definitely recommend.

We live in older housing with window AC units and I started to notice the humidity levels in our master bedroom were pretty high. I didn't need a huge humidifier as our room isn't that big. This one works perfectly, Its not loud but it does make noise (I can't hear it over our AC unit). I empty it out every few days, I have noticed such a huge difference in the moisture in our room! Doesn't feel so sticky anymore.

The battery pack in this model overheats, even when plugged into a brand new, 3-prong, grounded outlet. It is hot to the touch after about an hour of use. It takes the humidity out of the air well enough, but the battery pack is a fire hazard.

Well I have a tack room ( saddles and horse leather tack) with cement floors, and its very humid in there. Which is very hard on leather goods. This humidifier is having trouble keeping up. The room is 250 sq ft. I had a full size humidifier before that worked great and was getting a full tank of water every 3 days, however it was old and quit working. This humidifier only gets about 1/2" of water daily, and the room still smells moldy and humid! Its only been about 5 days now, and I'll decide if its worth the time and money. I do like the fact that it doesn't make the room hot like the other one did.

This small dehumidifier has been a blessing! I was skeptical to buy as I didn't know how well it would work because of its small size. I have been having really bad mold issues. I live in mississippi and it is very humid. Within a couple of hours of having it on in my living room you could feel the difference in the air! The air is usually muggy and it immediately felt cooler and drier. It has been taking about a cup of water a day out of the air! It sounds like a low hum. I recommend!

I was so amazed to see how much moisture it can collect in a week. Perfect for small bathrooms with poor ventilation. Additonally the larger collection tank this model has is awesome. The only downside is that it is not entirely quiet, it emits a white noise from the fans.
