What do I cut this to size with? What kind of tool?

A junior hacksaw then replace the plastic end cap on the cut edge to protect it from the weather if it won't stay on use a little glue to secure it. Hope this helps

What material is this made of?

The one I received is aluminium with plastic end caps

Can someone please confirm if it is ok to cut the chrome version of this bar to size? Will the cut edge corrode?

I have cut ours to size. I think its aluminiium so wont rust. Plus it comes with end caps to cover where you have cut
