It is slick and thick enough to soften my scruff before shaving and washes off my hands easily. Also, with other oils, my face and pores feel clogged, NOT the case with this oil. The non-scented version still has a very, very, very light scent (it is an oil, after all, so don't expect it to be absolutely scent-free). Have you tried putting a twisty cap back on with oil on your hands (instead of waiting until you are done...which I never remember to do for some reason)? If yes, then this is a pretty solid solution; even if you drop or knock the bottle over, it won't spill everywhere. Also, the pump allows you to use as much as you want/need for your shave...you know how much you want or need. This is a pretty good product, and I regularly don't review anything unless I consider it 4 or 5 stars and above. I hope they keep the formula the same.
