Review: Great Chair! Compact for storage, comfortable to sit in. - So... It is 'challenging' to open and close, but only at first. A little practice and it is a breeze. Trickiest bit is opening. Follow the directions and be sure you pull it all the way up before you spread it apart. Keep upward tension so the telescoping legs don't slide back down. You can't spread the seat if the legs aren't fully extended. Even with this I think they are easier to operate than the standard folding camp chairs and much easier to put in the bag. Comfort - That is such a personal thing it is hard to say for everyone. But do be advised that the seat height is fairly low so not great for anyone over about 6 feet or who has problems rising. No real place to rest your arms so that could be a negative if that is important to you.

A: This chair is expensive because it folds up very small, but opens into a full size chair. I have not had mine long, but I've used it quite a bit. It's very comfortable, and seems very good quality. It's ideal for a camper van.

So... It is 'challenging' to open and close, but only at first. A little practice and it is a breeze. Trickiest bit is opening. Follow the directions and be sure you pull it all the way up before you spread it apart. Keep upward tension so the telescoping legs don't slide back down. You can't spread the seat if the legs aren't fully extended. Even with this I think they are easier to operate than the standard folding camp chairs and much easier to put in the bag. Comfort - That is such a personal thing it is hard to say for everyone. But do be advised that the seat height is fairly low so not great for anyone over about 6 feet or who has problems rising. No real place to rest your arms so that could be a negative if that is important to you.

Great chair for overlanding and camping if space is at a premium, and you like a sturdy, full size and height chair. Comfortable to sit in, the setup and takedown is uncomplicated and easy. I’ve been using mine for frequent camping and overlanding trips since purchasing and have been really happy with it. I’ve gone through several less expensive chairs over the years, this one is well worth the price.
