I normally can't be bothered the write a review..for anything.. but I had 5 minutes and thought I'd let others know that these gaiters are definitely worth buying. Takes a bit of getting used to putting on and off. Sit down ..slide heel in backwards on the stirrup.. zip at the front .. adjust tightness at the top back.. little slide button to attach to boot laces.ideal for keeping mud brambles water etc off trousers.. wasn't expecting much based on the cost. But very pleasantly surprised. Get them!

While there is a canvas underfoot strap it would wear out very quickly so I immediately decided to wear them upside down with the strap as a fastening at the top! I would suggest doing this and reserving the correct position for snow. The way I wear them what these do well is to prevent your legs getting bitten or scratched if you are wearing shorts and also prevent water and extraneous material getting into your boots. And if you are wearing trousers they keep them nice and clean. No muddy splashes. Once you proof your trousers you do not want to keep washing them. And they are easily wiped clean. They drape down nicely over the boot. Fastening is by zip and velcro. You could forget about the zip and just use the velcro. I use both since I can easily bend to fasten them even at 73. For my local 'lockdown' walking on the South Downs these are ideal and ideally priced. Get into snow or deep vegetation and you may prefer a more expensive pair with a a higher specification. I bought a more expensive pair as well which have a tough silicon rubber underfoot strap.

Very pleased with the gaiters, however, they were for a gift and instead of being in an Amazon package/box they were in a clear bag so husband saw them before his birthday (a little disappointed) but not a problem with the item itself.

Love these. Perfect for work on a muddy day. Saves your jeans getting caked in it. Fits perfectly. I’m only petite and wondered if they’d be too big. No problem at all. Love the internal zip then press studs to close.

Does what I need for walking the dog. One of the gators didn't have the piece attached for the foot strap looked like it have never been sewn on. But has kept my legs dry.

Great .They are easy to put on . I no longer use the bit that goes under the boot but they still offer good protection for the bottom of my strides and top of my boots . Seem to be lasting longer than I thought they would

Decent for price, used in the snow kept me dry. Fine for walking. Not tried up in the hills

Very good Gaiters for the price , only used for a 11 mile walk and they worked very well, just a bit unsure if the fabric strap going under the sole will survive continuly on rough terrain, although I think they will still work without the straps, wr shall see
