Review: As Advertised - I installed mine in the attic running two G3 Bullet Cameras and one Mesh AP. The NanoSwitch is connected to my 24 Port 250 watt switch via ethernet and then I branch off from the switch to my two cameras and AP. Does exactly as advertised and should hold up well in the attic. It is not a managed controller so will not show up in the Unifi interface but its only 40$! Overall love the product and works exactly as advertised.
Review: Great 24V passive POE switch to extend multiple devices - Very handy device if you need additional 24V passive POE to power multiple devices. It will not work for 48V POE devices so verify 1st before buying. I do have 2 AP pro with unused 48V POE injectors so I'll be connecting one of them to this to power up the G3 flex. I think the form factor could be a bit smaller especially length wise. Not sure if I'll call it nano but it's small enough to be unobtrusive.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it possible to connect another nanoswitch to it to power up more cameras?**
A: Absolutely not.  You cannot stack Nanoswitches.  They have a limited amount of power PER PORT as well as overall (generally 24v at 1 amp).

**Q: Why isn’t the nano switch turning on when i have an ethernet cable cable from my poe unifi 24 switch to the nano switch do i need to power the nano?**
A: You will need to use a PoE converter (Ubiquiti INS-3AF-O-G) to convert 802.3af (48v) PoE to 24V Passive PoE for the Nano.

**Q: what is the operating temperature range on this switch?**
A: I can’t say for sure, but mine is outdoors where the temperature can vary from low 30s Fahrenheit to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and it has continued to operate without issue.

**Q: I assume that since this is supposed to be used outside that it would hold up well in an attic?**
A: I’ve had mine in an attic for over a year without issue. It’s the perfect switch for this.
