It seems very thin and weak, so we will see how that goes as we use our kettle 2-3 times a day. The next thing I noticed was I never heard it whistle. Upon inspection the water was definitely boiling, but no whistle. I pushed the lid down tighter and it finally began a very beautiful, but quiet, whistle. This is a disappointment to me bc I really need a loud whistle to get my attention as I'm a busy mom of 4 and normally doing 10 other things while waiting for my water. However my husband loves it so we will keep it and see how it holds up. Good thing it's super pretty!! ### ⭐⭐ Buyer beware. I filled it to several different levels and it boiled for at least 10 minutes and no whistle. Nothing. Steam comes from various places so i don't believe there is enough pressure to whistle. It is a beautiful pot. It does boil water. It came well packaged. It matches our other rainbow utensils.
