Razor Spark 2.0 Kick Scooter - Red

Ok-I bought this for me, not my kids but we all love it. I use it for communiting partially to work and just for fun. The light up wheels are super cool as is the spark thing that you press to leave a trail of sparks. It really does work. Why not get a scooter that will make you laugh every time you use it, as well as leave others smiling as you zip by? Also, here's what is super cool about it, that they need to include in the photos. It literally folds down to a rectangle. The handlebar slides down and then the bottom part folds up. You can also unhook the red handlebars to make it more compact. This way, if you can get an extra long backpack, you are able to put it in. I found a Northface back pack that is extra long yet still very compact to hold it in. Most regular size backpacks won't be big enough to fit it all the way in. The only negative thing would be is that if you are taller than 5'5", the handlebars might not be tall enough for you. So to the product designers, it may have been better if you had varying heights (and taller) handle bar sizes. It only seems to lift to one height, so you can't make it smaller or taller depending on your height. Also, for a more comfortable and stable ride, I wish the bottom part were wider, but maybe that's why it's called a Razor, since it's so thin. I can't really put two feet up comfortably. Finally, it's not a stiff ride, so you feel like the handle bars move around too fast. I would prefer if I had more control over it. One more thing, be careful if dogs are near by. I thought one was going to attack me as I zipped by a house and it either didn't like the sound of tthe wheels or the lights, or both. it scared the crap out of me as I zipped by. This is really a good by for the look, money, and fun.

Purchased as gifts for our 4 year old twin grandchildren. They both, boy and girl, became instant riders with no problems. All the grandchildren liked so much we gave one as a 10th birthday present in January and had a request for another for an April birthday. I'm thinking about getting one for myself, they really are fun to ride. Love the flashing lights and sparks, it really sets this scooter apart from all the others.Scooters were shipped immediately and arrived quickly even during the busy holiday season.

My 6 yr old son loves it! The light up wheels & sides are fun and help me keep an eye on him. :) The "spark strip" is wearing out fast however my son can't get enough of the sparks. Looks like I'll be buying a replacement strip very soon. All in all, worth every penny!

My grandson graduated from elementary school. And was planning a graduation party. I needed a graduation gift and he was wanting one of these for so long. So I ordered it. The graduation party was a disappointment!! Cake fell on the floor! His best friend was late. he was not happy!! UNTIL I gave him this!! It was like none of that bad stuff happened!!! He forgot all about it!!! It eas so good to see him happy again!! He loves riding it at night because of the way the sides light up and it sparks so bright. The only bad thing about this scooter is the sparks run put quick! And that's because you have to step on the spark cartrage to activate it. And heLOVES the spark effect!!! So buy extra cartrages!! This is a great scooter purchase!! And a good price compaired to others. So, go ahead & buy it!!! It will surly put a smile on your childs facs too!! Oh, and one other thing...don't forget to use safty!! Buy a helmet, elbo & knee pads!! It's about protecting your child...not your wallet!!!

Originally my kids thought this scooter was the bomb. It is pretty cool to see the sides and wheels light up when riding and then to see the Sparks fly when you break. That is until the break broke off. Oh well, no more sparks. But scooter still rides nicely

Gave as a Birthday gift to my eight year old son. He loves this scooter and rides it every chance he gets, rain or shine. His 10 year old sister loves it too and trades him game time on her DS for time to use the scooter. I like that it lights up making him a little more visible to traffic. Will most likely be buying a second one for daughter in the near future.

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter to upgrade her from Razor Jr (3 wheeler) scooter. She enjoys cruising on this even more because it is slimmer and she could weave into narrow lanes easily. She plays with it everyday and doesn't get bored with it as compared to other toys. The wheels would light up as she cruise and the lights would get brighter as she goes faster. The side of the stepping pedal would light up when she press the brake. She have not used the spark function yet as I afraid the spark may burn her skin, so I would not comment on the spark issue. The build up is steady and the height of the vertical bar can be adjusted as she grows.

The scooter is well constructed, and my 6 year old son loves it. My only complaint is with the spark bar. While the spark bar works really well, and the sparks created are really cool looking, the bar wears out very quickly. My son received the scooter yesterday for his birthday. After riding it for about 2 hours yesterday and about 2 hours today, the spark bar is completely worn down. So in about 24 hours, we now have to buy a $16.00 replacement pack, which contains 5 flint pads. This can get quite expensive over time. So take that into consideration before you purchase this scooter. You'll be going through these spark pads quite quickly.

Was on the wish list for a soon to be 5 year old and was a huge success. Scooter is as described and fun to watch, especially as it gets dark out.
