Wife loves them. Great company. Real benefits.
My wife loved these for the gym. But, they soon became her hiking shoes as they help with balance and foot strength the more you wear them. She has so many shoes and several pair of gym shoes. Enough protection on rocks, and dry fairly quick after crossing creeks, etc. The zero-drop shoe craze slowed down, from what I’ve seen, but that doesn’t change the fact that they’re great for strengthening your feet, which in turn strengthens everything else above, helps with arches, and can also help turn your wimpy feet into what God intended. They help with posture as well, which can help alleviate many posture-based back and hip pains. Great company and I don’t think you can go wrong with the brand. True to size. Look great. Built excellent.

So comfy!!
I've been wanting to get in on the barefoot trend for a while. I have very wide feet and high arches but given the choice I'm always barefoot. I tried some other brands and even though they're supposed to have extra room in the toe box none of them did.. until these! They fit incredibly well. They're soft and flexible. There is zero weird padding in the sole. I can feel the ground completely. My one complaint would be that since my feet are wider I wish the laces were longer.

As described
Ok, they're truly a zero drop, flat shoe. You'll feel all the rocks. I'm good with the fit, they're a tiny bit long. Plenty of toe room. Very lightweight, and they look pretty classic sneaker. I'm going to look at a better insole and probably be happy with them, especially since I got them at almost half price

Game Changer
These shoes are a game changer. I had been struggling with a $150 pair of Hokas, which made my feet ache/hurt after a 2 mile walk. So I decided to try a barefoot shoe. OMG, what a difference. There is a short adjustment period where your body/muscles needs to get used to not being stuck in a rigid shoe, but it’s worth it. My feet feel great!

Looks to be a good shoe, just a little short in length.
Had to reorder my shoes to half size up. They were a size 91/2 ( my usual size) but I sent them back because my toes were right at the very end of the shoe. Hopefully the size tens will be just right as this brand of shoe is what our physical therapist recommended for maintaining my balance as I age .

Perfect fit for my Cinderella.
I have had Xeros for years, but finally my wife decided to get these as her first pair. I was a bit anxious about size, but tried to use the suggested length to approximate which size we should get. I was amazed when we opened the box. It looked tiny compared to her brooks and another shoes. I didn’t think there was a chance they would fit. I WAS SURPRISED that they fit perfectly. Even without arch support, her comment after the first week was how much she felt her back was more aligned and legs felt great. She is an elementary music teacher and always on her feet … and she love them. She wore 9 in brooks, and loves 8 in Xeros.

Great shoes
Great shoes, very comfortable. The size is a little small, but still ok. Good quality. Bought them for running, still going through the transition. Great for walking.

Comparison between Prio/HFS/Vivobarefoot
I'll try to make this short and simple for my review. I ordered 3 different pairs of "barefoot" style shoes as I was looking to have something for weightlifting so I could feel more ground as I still need somewhat of support due to plantar fascitis. Xero Prio - feels sorta bulky (little heavier), fits true to size and has lots of wiggle room for toes. I think this one would definitely be a good running shoe or if you want more weight on your feet. Xero HFS - feels very lightweight, fits true to size but as the manufacturer website states to go up half a size is totally a personally preference. I had plenty of wiggle room left in the toe box and felt much more secure in this shoes when doing lunges, deadlifts, etc. I would recommend this one hands down but your width of foot might depend if you want to go up half a size or not. I just feel overall the flexibility and movement was hands down better in this one. I did order 2 of these...both regular size and half size up and I felt that the regular size that I normally wear worked better for me. Vivobarefoot - everyone rants and raves about this brand but honestly it was just OK.. I mean the gripping power of the underneath of the shoe was spot on for weightlifting, wiggle room is more than necessary, etc. I did not like the front area of the shoe at all when doing lunges or calf raises...the plasticy/vinyl part of the shoe near the boxes ended up hurting my feet because of how it scrunched. It was not really a "natural" movement. I just felt for the amount of money spent, the quality could be better. I could see that the material can easily come undone overtime from constantly "scrunching" when walking, lunging, etc... For $160...NOT worth it. They do run true to size but for the amount of money I feel it's a waste of money. Again, just an honest review and my opinion. Good luck!

Top Notch!
Love, love, love these trainers. I initially purchased a pair for gym use but they were so comfortable and durable I got a second pair for hiking. For 'barefoot' shoes they are great quality for the price and surprisingly tough. I've worn them on different terrains (rocks, paved roads, gravel, sand) and they haven't failed me yet (I checked for splits and cracks after a 20km hike but there were none). I have tried several other brands of barefoot shoes but these are by far the best for price, comfort and endurance. These particular ones are not waterproof and won't be suitable for use in the winter. I'll definitely be purchasing more from Xero.
