I had an INFESTATION. It was horrid. I foster cats so I always have several and one of our new fosters brought in fleas. They quickly spread to our 6 cats and 3 dogs and we're everywhere. You could see them jumping in the air and 2 of the animals were allergic so they bit and scratches themselves raw to the point of severe hair loss. Anyone who had had fleas know they reproduce quickly and before you know it it gets put of control. If you flea bomb the house and bathe the animals and wash up everything and miss one of then they are back angrier then ever the nest week. I became desperate and found this recipe and followed it and I am happy to say we have been flea free!!! I got all the products off of amazon. Here is the recipe.1 cup Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth 1/2 cup Neem Powder1/2 cup Yarrow Powder 20 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil *Leave out the essential oil if using for cats*Directions:Mix all ingredients together and put in a shaker top container like an empty baby powder bottle or salt shakerApply in a well ventilated area or outside, try not to let your pet inhale itApply from head to tail along your pets spine in dry conditions. Brush your pets fur going the opposite direction so the powder comes in contact with the skin. Avoid the eyes and nose. Rub the powder on the belly and legs. Try to get the flea powder on as much skin as you can. I also found the fleas seem to like the tail, the area right above the tail and the belly/groin area so I made sure to pay extra attention to those areas to get them well covered.   How often to apply flea powder?To use this as a general repellent (with no serious flea infestation), applying once a month during active flea season (end of spring/summer) is sufficient. If the pet gets a bath or gets wet, it will need to be reapplied.   If you have a flea infestation:You will need to apply more often, depending on how bad of an infestation you are dealing with. I applied every day until I saw no more traces of fleas (now I’m just using it as maintenance). Some are successful with applying as little as once a week, but others need it more often – it just depends on the level of infestation. Also remember to reapply if your pet gets wet (important!).   If you have a flea infestation, you will also need to apply this flea powder to your floors, windowsills, door sills, pet bedding, sofa, etc. Focus your efforts where your pet spends the most amount of time, since fleas and their eggs will be the most concentrated in those areas. Just apply a light dusting to the areas in your house and leave it there overnight. Vacuum in the morning or sometime the next day. Do this once a week for 4 weeks if you have a flea infestation.   If you got through all this and you are like me and had nothing to lose and are ready to set your house on fire and cut your losses then please try this. I was desperate and felt so sorry for my animals and this was a miracle. Good luck everyone!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I killed candida, have super strong nails, and NO MORE ANTS!!! *by S***. on June 27, 2017* I had been a lifelong sufferer of "too much yeast".... candida.... and a few years ago, became allergic to the only medicine that would get rid of a yeast infection (Diflucan). I searched and searched and found DE, read the reviews, and decided to give it a shot.ALL I CAN SAY IS --- IT HAS SAVED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I started taking DE on November 4, 2016. I didn't start slow - I started with 2 tablespoons every morning. Just stir it up in some cranberry juice, and down it fast. Yes it's a little gritty, but there is really no flavor (especially if you take it with something as strong as cranberry juice).It was around mid-December that I noticed the "bacteria die-off" happening. I read about it so I was prepared, but WOW. They aren't kidding!!! You will go through a phase where all those nasty bacteria and yeastie-beasties are dying off inside you; and you may feel flu-like, tired, brain foggy, and...... a tad "sensitive" in the girly parts. WOMEN, this die-off in the girly parts is NOT ANYTHING like a horrid yeast infection! Hard to explain but things just feel rather sensitive (warn your better half you will need to abstain until the die off is over, trust me). There are ways around this die off phase, though.1: Get yourself some Molybdenum 250 mcg, found right here on Amazon. It was a savior during this die off phase and REALLY helped through the weird symptoms!2. Get yourself some Vitanica Yeast Arrest , homeopathic Formula, 28 Vaginal Suppositories - also here on Amazon - if you are a lady and you get a tad sensitive down in the girly parts - these are actually quite heavenly! They have soothing tea tree oil in them, and if you keep them in the fridge (as suggested), the cooling effect is pretty amazing! It made things bearable during that week or two things were sensitive.The yeast died off FOR GOOD about 6 weeks after I started taking it... and I mean FOR GOOD! I used to sneeze and get a dang yeast infection! Or if my blood sugar dropped for some reason or if I ate a donut or the sky turned blue - I mean anything would cause them because I was SO FULL of candida! I am happy to say I killed candida off for good and it's ONLY thanks to this DE!It's a HUGE bag, too! Here it is late June and I am just now needing to reorder. So, the 10 lb bag will last at least 8 months (or more, depending on how much you ingest daily).Note, I also use this around doors and windows as well as my pets food bowls (two cats, two dogs). We had a horrible ant problem, those darn ants would come in and head straight to the pets food and water bowls. =( Not any more!
