Phenomenal Value!
Specs are decent and performance is smooth, I’m able to run many of my newer games at max setting here at a variable 50-80 fps and 100+ if I lower the settings. 16GB of RAM gives plenty of power to help play games, stream, or run multiple applications at once if need be. Temperatures hold at what you’d expect and the overclock pushes out some decent additional performance. The included mouse and keyboard are as you could expect but the mouse out of the two is a little light and cheap feeling. Still a good value! I also received some speakers in the box that provide an adequate compliment to my current speakers. A nice surprise!

If you're a gamer, it's worth the price. You'll have it for a long time and runs everything.
It's the best computer I've had, very good looking and runs every top game at very high/ultra level. Starts amazingly fast. Had a couple times when it restarted by itself when playing but apparently was a heating problem. I turned the fans at max power (it's noisy but you can set up the speed) and so far it haven't happened again. The keyboard it's great as I can see the buttons even at night with lights off (you can set up the brightness or turn off the LEDs, only blue color tho). Mouse is pretty good as well with LEDs and extra buttons. It's been 6 months and so far I'm very happy with it.

Defective computer
Tried connecting to a TV with HDMI and the TV was getting no signal from the PC. Tried again on a monitor and had the same results. Tried both the TV, monitor, and HDMI cable with two other computers and they all worked perfectly.Obviously something is wrong with this PC so I contacted ACER about getting it fixed. They would not accept it. They told me to make sure the HDMI cable is plugged into the video card and call tech support. That comment really frustrated me because there is only one HDMI port on this computer and it is on the video card. A visit to the ACER support website clearly shows this is a common problem they are having and there seems to be no known solution. I used to love ACER products, but now I am questioning their quality.I don't want to deal with poor customer support so I chose to return it. A couple other shady things with this computer. It has two serial numbers. One on the side and one on the bottom. At the ACER support site one of the serial numbers says the computer was purchased in April and I bought it in May. One of the clips that hold the RAM in place was partially broken but still held the RAM in place. I feel pretty confident the computer was returned defective and then repackaged and sold to me.

Fast
Have been playing on this machine for about a month now and have had zero problems so far. Startup is lightning fast at about 5-6 seconds. The gtx1060 gpu is still a really good card for almost any current game out there and the i7-8700 possessor is overpowered for what i do ( mostly skyrim, world of tanks, fallout 4 all on ultra). May upgrade the gpu in a few years but a great comp for the money absolutely.

Great Value For the Money
I was in the market to replace a 10 year old tower and had a budget of $1,500 for the tower and monitor. What I like:- Starts up in 12 seconds (vs 3 minutes with old HP Pavillion)- Sets up connection to internet on its own- Only a few Windows updates and no bloatware- 16 GB Ram and 6GB Nividia GTXWhat I don't like:- If you are older like me, you have to get past the lights, but you can adjust the keyboard and after inactivity the tower goes off

What I expected
Had this for one week now... Upon start up computer went through guided setup - no problems, easy to follow, no real technical knowledge required to get started. Only had one windows update to run, all other BIOS, software and drivers were current within two weeks. Predator sense software is lacking. Version on this machine only controls one of the fans. There are no light controls, and I mean not even a simple on/off setting. Haven't experienced any excessive heat problems. GPU never above 76, CPU never above 78. Well within hardware specs. Will upgrade cooling at some point; however, the rear fan is small (3.15in or 80mm) installing a standard 90 or 120mm would require drilling the backplate of the case. It may be possible to mount a fan on the left side mesh portion of case. That may be the best shot with the case size for this system. All in all exactly what the specs stated it would be; no issues during setup and no software, crashing, or rebooting issues during the first week of use.

Handles everything
This Predator is the 2nd one I have owned last one lasted 11 years and still working, convinced my sister to buy one since Predators kill Aliens. This is also the 4th Acer I have owned in 17/18 years and have only had to call them 4 times and 3 of those times were to register my PCs. The other brands of PCs I have owned have not lasted as long except the Alienware I had before my first Predator but that was before Dell bought them out. Gave that to a friend and he is still using it.

Acer Predator Orion 3000 PO3-600-UR18 Desktop, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8400, GeForce GTX 1060
gave a 3 star because when i first received it it had to be sent back for repairs and also the optane memory is nice to have but makes it a pain to switch from normal hard drive to a ssd drive thanks for that..now that i finally got a ssd installed it runs so much better and smoother on games.i don't like the fact that there is no button to turn off or even change the color of the lights however it is a great gaming computer for the few games that i play..it plays skyrim and fallout 4 without any problems
