Pottery type heavy duty basin
Beautiful basin! It is about 1/2 inch thick & is heavy. It looks like pottery & the blue has a shiny glaze & is varigated in color. It looks very pretty in my navy & white powder room. No splashing over the sides. I did not do the install but it did not seem to be a problem. I did ask that it be inset into the sink a bit. You will need a faucet designed for a vessel sink . There is no overflow drain hole. That is just the way vessel sinks are.

Not blue at all:(
I was so hopeful this sink would be perfect but if you're looking for blue, look elsewhere. The sink I received was black on the outside and coiled green and black on the inside. You could possibly call it turquoise green but that's stretching it. It definitely not navy, or any other shade of blue. I gave it two stars because it is very sturdy and well made.
