Frost King R516H 1-1/4-Inch by 7/16-Inch by 10-Foot Thick Sponge Rubber Foam Tape, Black

This makes a huge difference in the warmth of my family room which is in the basement and has a patio door. I live in MIchigan and if that patio door isn't sealed there is a cold winter breeze that finds its way into the room. This stuff is the cure for that. It works like temporary insulation. When spring and summer arrive it is easily removed. Really good product.

I bought this tape to stick to the rails of a stand I bought for my lap steel guitars to cushion them and keep them from sliding around. I had originally thought about using Velcro but wasn't too stoked about sticking a piece of Velcro on the backs of my steels. Somebody on a forum suggested using insulation tape and, you know what? It works perfectly. Nice and cushiony, and they don't move at all. How well does this stuff work as insulation? I don't know for sure, but it looks like it should do the job.

Some jerk decided to use a crow bar on my door and bent the frame to hell. For temporary solution to keep from getting soaked when I drive the car; this stuff works AMAZINGLY. Nice and dry. Perfect size, too.

I used this around my window air condition and it worked ok. tape seems sticky but easily slid off of wood during installation. Nice and thick

Great product

Disappointed. It flattened almost instantly. When I place it on my roof rack carrier, I pressed down hard to ensure adhesion and it flattened and didn't come back to form. It is too 'foamy', which it were more rubbery.

I never seem to line these things up perfectly the first try. So, I have to pull part of it away from the target surface and reapply. Came loose without a battle and when I stuck it right where I wanted it (on the second try), it sticks. The target material is painted steel. My expectations are met.
