This is a good quality if fairly lightweight knocker. Based on previous reviews, I wasn't sure what the fitting options would actually be but was pleasantly surprised to find there are plenty. You can simply stick the knocker onto the door (after drilling a hole for the door viewer) using the sculptured weatherproof self-adhesive pad already on the item or attach a plastic mounting plate (which the knocker then slides on to from above) to the door with the two screws provided or the self-adhesive pad it has on it or drill two holes through the door and use the long nylon bolts cut down to a suitable length with the chrome nuts provided. Given the product isn't heavy and the door viewer effectively acts as a clamp that would stop the knocker from falling off in the unlikely event that the self adhesive pad failed, I'd recommend just sticking it in place having first put a small piece of masking tape where the top and the bottom of the knocker need to be and then marking the centre point on each piece of tape so that, when you stick the knocker on to the door, you get it dead centre first time as you only get one chance if you use the self adhesive method. All in all, very happy with my purchase. It looks good against my newly glossed black door and whilst not really a premium product, it isn't being sold at a premium price so I do feel it is good value.

Pour une porte de 53 mm d'épaisseur, le Judas n'est pas assez long avec l'épaisseur du heurtoir. Le produit est de bonne qualité mais les tiges filetées sont en plastiques.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour ma mère qui n'entend plus lorsque l'on frappe à sa porte. Si le produit est de bonne qualité, il ne va pas sur toutes les portes, surtout les portes blindées dernière génération qui sont assez épaisses. En effet, l'épaisseur du marteau de porte s'ajoutant à l'épaisseur de la porte paliere, le judas est trop court. Résultat, nous avons été obligé d'acheter un judas spécial avec rallonge à 15 € pour permettre de monter le marteau.
