Stainless Steel Aircraft-style Cable
Best price on 3/8” stainless steel cable anywhere. Though difficult to see, there are two cables, one per side, that keep my dock centered to the shoreline. The cables are attached to a tree(one on each side) on the shore, then through a pulley and onto a hand operated winch(one per side) on the boat dock. Hopefully, this will be the last cable I ever have to buy.

Beware: item not as pictured.
The cable itself is fine and as advertised. The spool it comes on IS NOT. It is a cheap wooden concoction not up to the task of holding the 125 pound wire, that arrived smashed. As a result trying to unwind the steel cable became a 500 foot unwieldy nightmare of twisted 3/8 inch “birdnest”.
