clamped to handle bar, but had to use a piece of rubber packer from something else in order for it to not damage the finish of the handle bar. Much better than the simple pinger type that comes with a bike, this old fashioned style bell really rings, and I don't object to it making a noise when you go over bumps and rough surfaces. The top has to be checked for tighness however because it has a tendency to unscrew and possibly fall off - I managed to catch it.

Excellent Dutch-style bell. Lovely sound. Loud enough. As someone write, it does ring itself when on bumpy road but I like this because it confirms what I’ve always known: my bike is alive. (No cat or Doraemon doll included with bell.)

Broke after a month and a bit of occasional use. Doesn't make any sound anymore. Before breaking-down - sometimes it just got randomly jammed [for no apparent reason] - and didn't make any sound whatsoever, sometimes when in-traffic and when I needed it most Low quality....

This little bell is brilliant value, the top did keep unwinding ,if you put ptfe tape around the thread its solid then and solves the problem.

When i used it initially it was ringing on every tiny bump on the road. Had to take out one of the metal rings from inside the bell to fix it. Works great now though. Otherwise really great bell with a classic sound!

Ich wollte eine einfache, klassische Fahrradklingel, die tut, was sie soll – und genau das macht diese hier perfekt. Die Montage war kinderleicht, sie passt problemlos an den Lenker und sitzt stabil. Der Klang ist laut, klar und typisch „Klingeling“, also genau richtig, um auch im Straßenverkehr gut gehört zu werden. Das Material wirkt robust, nichts wackelt oder klappert, und selbst nach mehreren Wochen täglicher Nutzung funktioniert sie wie am ersten Tag. Kein Schnickschnack, einfach eine gute, solide Fahrradglocke zu einem fairen Preis. Kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen!
